Today I took my Jeep in for a free 4 wheel rotation.
I want to thank the staff. I cannot recall everyone but there was Cody, Chris, Tim, And I think Wally.
There was an issue with the security key for the wheel lock. Got me going and got a new security key and earned 5 star reviews and customer service awards. Thanks

DJ at the Skymarks Dr location really turned my experience around.
Dropped my car off for a balance and rotation and swung by to pick it up shortly after close of store hours. They were still able to check me out and get me back in my car, and said the techs had not comments about my tires or the service. When I got back in my car, the low tire pressure light was on, but I assumed that they didn't think to clear it (or know how), so I drove off (I have runflats) and tried to clear it when I got home. The light wouldn't clear, but since it was after hours, I waited until they opened at 8am the following day and called in to let them know I'd be bringing it back by after work in the afternoon. When I brought it in, they found a huge hole in one of my tires. I had to order a replacement tire, which they were able to get on order from another local shop and it arrived within an hour. They installed the tire, and the whole time, I'd been left to think that this balance and rotation was going to end up footing me a $200+ bill with this new tire and the installation charge the associate had quoted me. However, when my car was complete, DJ said I was good to go. I told him I hadn't paid yet. He had heard what had happened, and had clearly seen me there the day before. He said, he assumed they must have done something wrong at the shop or missed something the day before since my light was on before I even left the parking lot, so the tire and installation was on them today. I gave him a hug for his humble kindness and walked out of the shop with a much better view of the situation than I'd been feeling for hours.
It's hard to own up to mistakes, but DJ's calm apology and his way of owning the shop's work really exemplified professionalism and service. I went from feeling like I never wanted to bring my car to a Discount Tire again, to feeling like I can really trust this shop.
You can bet I'll be bringing my cars to this location for any tire services they need!

Had an appointment at 11:30, pulled into the parking lot at 11:27. Car was still sitting in the parking lot at 12:30. No point in having appointments if you still have to wait an hour before they're able to get to your car.

Took my car in for tires today, they called an hour later to tell me my vehicle was ready for pick up. When I arrived to pick up the car, they told me that they stripped a stud and it needed to be repaired. They could have told me this over the phone instead of when I returned. They also told me it would take an hour or so, when I arrived at the repair shop they said that they always do that and it would be a minimum three hours. There was little concern from the tire shop that it would disrupt my entire day. It was only by their carelessness that they stripped the stud out. The repair shop fixing the car said that it happens more often than it should.

The only place in Jacksonville I will let touch my tires. Prices cannot be beat and the staff are always courteous and knowledgeable. They never try to up sale you, just give you the options and let you choose.
