We used Direct Cremation of Maine to cremate one family member just recently. The price is good at just about $1,000 and they offer other small services and goods such as urns and memory cards. We ordered nicer card through vista print.

However, we requested 2 people to come to our residence to remove the body respectfully, but only one person came. They claimed another call came around the same time and only two people were available. In order to respectfully remove his body, I felt the need to assist and did so. I did not have to pay for a second person, but we got no discount because they came poorly prepared with a single person. I'm not how they could have respectfully removed the body with one person.

Direct Cremation Of Maine made what was a difficult time in our lives a very comforting experience. Amy was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a more caring and helpful individual to guide us along the way. I feel she went above and beyond what one should expect and their services are very reasonably priced. Amy even helped answer questions that didn't pertain to their line of work and she also adjusted her schedule to coordinate with mine. Even though we lost a loved one, Direct Cremation of Maine made the process seamless. I would highly recommend them and if the occasion arises again, I wouldn't hesitate to use these wonderful people.

Direct Cremation of Maine has provided amazing care to many families at time when they needed it so much. They are so kind and caring. They are a family run business that takes the time to be there for their families when they need them the most. Very caring , friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with Direct Creamation Of Maine. When my Dad passed away they came when we wanted them to come, they gave us a choice allowing us to spend as much time with him as we needed. The people are very professional, courteous, accommodating and helpful, I highly recommend them.

There is great care given here. I have had two family members pass away recently outside the state of Maine, but I wanted to get some memorial cards made as my contribution to my family. I was able to get them made quickly even though their services were being handled out of state, and they were lovely and well received. Everyone there is pleasant and makes you feel welcome. No one looks forward to using a funeral home, but should you have the need, definitely give a call. Even the "extras" like memorial cards were more than reasonably priced.
