This is a great park. Plenty of open space. Miles of hiking trails. Nice spots to sit and have a picnic.

Great open park. Lots of area for family activities, events, bike rides.. And your dog will love walking with you on the mini trails during great weather.

A great place for all manner of sports and outdoor activities. There are ample soccer fields, miles of hiking trails, the high school state finals cross country course, and fields for rugby or football. The trails are well maintained and sign-posted, and my family enjoys hiking here year round. If you are looking for a place to take a walk or watch a sporting event, Detweiler Park is a great place.

Great trails but easy to get lost. I highly recommend taking pictures of the maps so you have a decent idea of where you are. There are also playgrounds, soccer fields and so much more.

We play ultimate Frisbee here on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM. We're always looking for more players.

Detweiller is a special place, home to one of the most iconic and historic cross country courses in the Midwest, if not the nation. Perhaps thousands of athletes have been measured by their 'Detweiller-time.'

Very nice park with some really cool equipment that's worth checking out. The trails through the woods are also a major draw.

Detweiler Park features a playground, a fire pit, and a pavilion surrounded by grills. It also serves as an access point for numerous "adventure" trails, unpaved walkways with the occasional wooden bridge or steps.
