When I'm in Detroit, I always bring a jersey, or two, with me to get some work done on them. They always have exactly what I want, they know exactly where the item is supposed to be placed on the jersey, and they can do it in house (in a matter of minutes) while you're shopping.
When I stopped in on Saturday, I was informed that the person that does that kind of work is not there on weekends, but will be in on Monday and that they open at 10am. I told them that it would be hard for me to stop in on Monday because I'd be leaving town (via train) on 11:20 Monday morning. They said that if I wanted to leave my jerseys, the person that does that work usually arrives by 9am and starts right away, and that they'd leave a not to get to those right away. They also said that even though they don't open until 10, I could show up around 9:30 and knock on the door and they'd let me in. So I paid for my Saturday purchases, as well as the future work on my jerseys, and left my jerseys with them.
When Monday morning rolled around, I was dropped off at 9:32am. I knocked on the door and was immediately let in. They had one of my two jerseys already done and were just finishing up the second. After about a two minute wait, they brought my other jersey out and I was on my way.
As usual, my jerseys turned out perfect. And also as usual, their customer service was second to none. Every time I've ever dealt with them, they've always bent over backward to make sure that my items are perfect and that I have a great experience. Their prices are great. I've never dealt with anyone that has faster shipping. I also know that I'll always receive first class customer service. If I ever want anything Detroit sports related, I will ALWAYS turn to them first.response / report this review -

The best selection of custom hats and jerseys in metro Detroit the employees are fantastic and helpful and the store manager is one of the best guys I've ever met.

If you want to get a jersey lettered, THIS IS THE PLACE! They use the authentic sewn on lettering the pros use. I've had a Probert and a Nordiques jersey done here and they came out great.

Friendly staff, great new selections every year for all local sports. Especially the Tigers gear. A rear local business find. And FREE shipping if you can't make it to their store.

taking a trip from Florida back home to catch a Wings game at the Joe for my 1st time, before they leave. spoke to Ashley about ordering a Jersey, and she was more than helpful. After making my decision to go for it, I ordered it on Wed, and was flying on Thurs, but was having the Jersey shipped to my parents house in Port Huron. I ordered at 2pm on Wed, and got a confirmation email it was SHIPPED by 330pm THAT day! It arrived at my parents home on THURS by Noon! when I landed and got "home" it was waiting for me, and I felt like a little kid putting it on! The best part, we scored with 28 seconds left and beat the Islanders! a Magical trip, and Detroit Athletic Co and Ashley were a HUGE part of that! My only regret, not getting into the store on Fri before they closed to say THANK YOU!

Great store, friendly and very helpful staff. This place offers everything a Detroit sports fan could possible ask for and so much more! They even have items available from the old Briggs Stadium so cool! It was like a timeline museum spending time in there. Located at "The Corner" which is all any Detroit fan needs to know, for location. Anyone who stops and shops can step outside and see that Centerfield flag and remember the great stadium. We will be back again! Thank you Detroit Athletic Company, you guys are absolutely awesome!!!
