I have never written a bad review on a practice before, but this has to be the RUDEST office in Huntsville, Al! I have been going to this practice for about 8 years now, and I have let some things slide by. My last straw was when Dr. Raby’s nurse SLAMMED and hung the phone up as I was apologizing because I couldn’t come in any earlier AFTER I had already called and moved my appointment up an hour earlier myself due to the weather. In 2020 I had to be seen once a month for almost a year. My balance was paid up I only had a $20 balance on top of what my copay was going to be for that day. For each visit I had I would pay my previous payment, and ask that they bill for that days visit, or I would pay that days copay because I didn’t always have a balance. It was never a problem. The loud young lady at check out demanded that I paid it all (copay & balance) and stated that they did not bill anymore due to COVID-19! The way she talked down to me you would of thought I had a huge balance that I wasn’t paying on! If it wasn’t for Dr. Raby’s nurse practitioner Brittany I would have definitely found a new dermatologist practice for my patient care. Not all of the ladies are rude at this practice but the one’s that are I will never understand what “Thrill” you get out of being rude to patient’s! Some of the staff should take a class on professionalism to get some type of education on how you should treat and talk to patient’s! My eyes are definitely open to why EVERY single person I have recommended to this office has called me to let me know how rude the staff were to them and how they will not be going back.

Wonderful staff and physicians. I have seen Kelly Durham, PA-C and Dr. Sowell and they've both been amazing. I struggled with cystic acne and scarring for years. They prescribed a medicine for my acne and my skin has never been clearer. I've done multiple rounds of microneedling with Pam and my scarring is significantly better. There's no other place I'd rather go for my skincare needs!

Excellent, professional and Courteous. Dr. Raby is excellent and my entire family have been patients for the last 5 years. The office is very busy because they are good at what they do. No issues. Would highly recommend!

After waiting over 20 minutes on hold and letting the operator know I had been referred you Dr. Raby by my physician, the operator told me Dr. Raby would not see me without a written referral from my doctor and would not take a new patient for the issue I’d called about. The call was a waste of time and was not a good reflection on the fact that a peer physician had referred me to him. I’m glad y’all are doing so well that you can see who you want and turn everyone else away.

Maybe in AUGUST you realize you are nearly out of your rash ointment. Maybe you will call and be offered a JANUARY appointment--with the nurse practitioner. Wanna see a doctor? Try APRIL. So how about a refill? Call and leave a message. Maybe they'll call back. Maybe they won't. Maybe they'll send it to the WRONG pharmacy and accuse you of drug-seeking when you question the choice to send your OINTMENT to the wrong pharmacy. You wanna complain about that? Maybe you'll be accused of everything but arson and anarchy. Maybe you'll be insulted and dismissed. The question is: do you feel lucky? Maybe you would be better off finding a different office. Or, maybe you like being treated in a mean-spirited, unprofessional, inept way by office staff. You only pay top-dollar to be mis-treated. It is totally your choice.

Called to set a new patient appointment for my daughter on September 7, 2017 and was told the next available will be January 11, 2018. Unacceptable.

    DO NOT USE!
Terrible business practices, horribly rude office staff, incompetent office manager. I was referred to them and told by my doctor that I would be hearing from them about setting up an appointment. Two months later I received an automated voice mail telling me I had an appointment the following day and would be subject to a cancellation fee if I did not show. After spending 15minutes on hold with the office, I was able to communicate my issues with the whole process to the woman who answered. She immediately transferred me to Michael Lee, the office manager.
He was an extremely confrontational individual, who constantly prated about how busy they were, how many women he had answering the phones, and how I was wronged not by his office for automatically setting up an appointment, but by my doctor for not relaying that I had automatically been scheduled.
I honestly do not think he listened to a word I said, choosing simply to boast about the business of this fast-food style dermatological office and screaming "we're done!" repeatedly after I asked him to remove my medical records from his database.
This is a practice that does not serve people, only their bottom line. I have reported this behaviour to the BBB, and will be pursuing any avenues of federal reports that I can. Avoid this place at all costs.

Also of note: the office manager posted a raving review of his own office, which happens to be one of two positive reviews this place received. I have a sneaking suspicion the other anonymous review is from another staffer. What a shady place, from the top on down.

The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have visited this office on many occasions and have always been satisfied with the service and care received. I have seen some reviews that state people had to wait too long to see the doctors, but I don't mind this as I understand that these doctors spend the time necessary to address the needs of each patient and sometimes this creates some backlog in the process. Waiting in a doctor's office is just something I expect and I do not mind waiting for great care!!! I highly recommend this office for any dermatology needs.

They scheduled an appointment without even calling me. I found out about it when I answered the phone and heard the reminder message. How stupid is that?
