No tee boxes on any of the holes! I've never seen that at a golf course before. Greens are very small. Proximity to highway made it noisy. The only plus was it wasn't busy (playing in late October on a weekday). Will not return.
Course is really improving and is in good shape in most areas. Can find good deals on it.
Worst course I've been to in Northest Ohio so far. Terrible, absolutely terrible cart paths. It almost hurts to drive on them. Staff is always snooty. Played "later" then most people (3 hours on 18 with 2 people) was greeted at the cart barn with their crackhead cart boy who was all pissed off because he didn't have headlights on his car. Returned our cooler to the clubhouse with some old guy telling me my shirt needed to be collared ( because it's such a prestigious course). If you want some cheap nasty golf, this is your place.
Course is great for the groupon price. It us a bit short but nice to just getg out and play. No alchol sales on sunday either.
Went to Deer Pass, which in times would have gotten a 1 or 2 because the past have shown some bad customer service as well as bad course maintenance. However this past weekend I went and customer service was greatly improved, and the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were nice and fairways were nice without any hard pan areas. It was enjoyable. I had said before that I would never go back, I only went because I got a deal. They are back on my list. The real rating is 3.5 but I went up to 4.
This has been a place my friends and I have enjoyed, however, we were a group of 6. I know, a group of 6 is a no go, but it was a bachelor party on a slow day. An employee told us since we weren't holding anyone up and we were fine. But soon after, Ranger Rick (too serious about his job), told us , no more than 4. Ruined our experience. We would have understood if we were being a disruption or holding up those behind us. We will NEVER be back. It's hard to find off the exit and those employed by this golf course, ruin the course.
Good course decently maintained you can tell they are working to improve the conditions. Some of the best weekly promotions I have ever seen.
Not a bad course. Not real challenging, but they want you to stay on path 3-4 holes. I play carrying oxygen, so not possible.
The paths are very rough, and you Dodge rocks.
The lady that worked inside was very nice but the guys that took care of the carts were very rude. This was our first time here and I was sure how go take the cart back. I guess I did it work because I was told to just get out of the cart
It's a par 3 but super fun. Play is fast. Very reasonably priced.
I have had nothing but great experiences at Deer Pass. Chad has hosted my company appreciation party the last couple years and everyone has a great time. Everything from the golf to the pavilion party and food is excellent. I've also attended several fundraisers at Deer Pass. The passion and effort that Chad puts into these events to raise money for family's and orginizations in need is remarkable.
