This place was just purchased in December 2016. Many items are brand new. If you have suggestions just let the owners know! This is the only hostel with windows facing the ocean I believe in South Beach. If you are terrified of bed bugs, you will pleased to know the mattresses are plastic coated. They offer a warm fuzzy blanket if you get chilled at night.
All you have to do is walk across the street and you are on the beach!
📌 I suggest shelves in the female bathroom to hang above the toilet. A cubicle for every bed number. It would be nice to have a rack to hang something or maybe soak your dentures. 😂😃😉 Seriously, that's needed.
📌 I think it would be great to have Lysol wipes/Purex sanitizer dispensers on the dorm wall. I don't mind wiping things down for the rate charged.
❤️ I like how the staff treated my concerns. I would like to see a special rate for the open bar upstairs for those who choose not to go on the 'Party Bus' adventure. Every night they take you to a local club.
📌 The outside elevator entrance needs better lighting. I chose to use the restaurant entrance below. I hope they change the name from Voodoo to something happier or more trendy like : I SEE U/ PUFFY AT SEA (it's also a Hookah Bar)/ or THE PIZZA PIRATE
I spent a lot of time observing the reactions of pedestrians, and most weren't impressed by the sign, 20% were appalled like me. Hey! They have security cameras, which is useless if not watched. The Hotel is set up like a subway train, all the rooms spin off a hallway.
💛 Hostels are great because it's filled with Hipsters who desire to make new friends and experience new ideas. Hotels are great if you are super anti-social. I recommend everyone stay one night at a hostel. Once you realize what we pay for superficial comfort versus what we really need, you are amazed. Regardless where you stay, you will have extra money to do other things. Every time I stay at a Hostel I meet people who change my life and empower my personal self growth.
❤️ The window view is also great because if there are any festivals you can see it from the window.
Nothing is perfect, not even our homes If you want to chillax and make new friends this place has my vote for view, location, and modern style.

Me and my man had a horrible experience. The manager showed no concern for us. The doors were broken into and others passing by will see you. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I was there for a short amount of time and I heard all sorts of complaints from other people. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. they didn't even offer parking. Me and my dude slept on the streets last night.

Stayed in this hostel from 29th December 2014 to 1st January 2015. Great place to meet a lot of people from all parts of the world. The hostel is right on Ocean Drive, so you can walk to the beach/ pubs whenever you want to. Staff is friendly and the dorms are cleaned everyday. Excellent place for students !
