My family is large and it's hard to find a place to stay but this hotel was friendly
Never again!
I was extremely disappointed in my visit at the Days Inn, and will not be returning in the future. The service was terrible from the moment we arrived. I booked two rooms per an online price, by speaking with someone from what it sounded like, in another country. She gave me a rate price of 67.00 a night with tax each for both rooms that were king size rooms. When we arrived, only one room was booked and they were charging us 79.00 a night with tax. I tried to explain this to the front desk host, but she was extremely rude and not helpful at all!!! We paid the $79.00 a night. We told her that we were going to the casino, and requested that a shuttle pick us up. After arriving at the casino, we were told that the hotel we were staying at should have given us each a $5.00 voucher for gambling, plus half off food!! We were never offered any of that. The next morning at check out, I mentioned that to the same woman from the night before, and she said it is OUR responsibility to ask for things like that. What???? How would I know to ask for that when I have never stayed at your establishment? She was one of the rudest people I have ever met, and needless to say, we will never return to that establishment again. Horrible customer service all the way around.
The rooms are small, but nice. Free all you can eat food in the lobby all day. Negatives- housekeeping left a note telling us to clean our room, as it was somehow too messy for them to.
We checked in and went to our room to only find out that they had rented it to someone else. We called from our cell phone and were told to come back to the office. So we took our luggage back down the stairs and drove back to the office to get a new room. We went back up the stairs, opened the door and was not impressed. The beds are as hard as a rock, my husband could barely move in the morning. I was woke up by the people next to us turning on their shower. My husband turned on the tv and everything was great until I turned our shower on and the tv went to all static. The exercise room looked more like a storage area. The breakfast area was so cramped that where ever you stood you were in
someone's way. We checked out and went to breakfast some place else and cut our mini vacation short. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND KEEP DRIVING!
