Great place. The room was clean and plenty of towels. Staff was nice. Pet friendly makes it a bonus.

We ended up staying here when our truck broke down just outside of town. It was a holiday weekend and rooms were in short supply. We had to wait several days for a repair shop to be open so our stay here was longer than expected. Take into consideration that this is a privately owned motel at a budget price. The most impressive part of this place was the management. I am very surprised at the negative reviews that I see. Our experience was the complete opposite. They were absolutely fantastic! The owner took me to the garage where my truck was parked to pick up some items and also helped me get a part ordered to help expedite the repair. He actually bought us breakfast one day! They even gave us a discount on the room when our stay lasted an extra day. As for the room itself, it was outdated as expected and somewhat worn but clean. The linens were fresh and the towels were very clean and fluffy. The fridge/microwave was also clean. The room was a good size and the air conditioner worked well. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay where the people treat you well I would definitely recommend it.

Managment is awful. The place is outdated and the owner isnt nice. He lies about almost everything. The place isn't clean, black mold in shower, cockroaches in the kitchen and everywere else. Do your self a favor and just skip this place.

Take into consideration that this is a privately owned motel at a budget price. Most importantly it was clean. No concerns about bed bugs, comfortable walking around barefoot and the linens were fresh. In fact the towels get an A++ as they were soft, fluffy and white! The fridge/microwave was also clean. We stayed on the top floor of the back building and it was quiet! The room was very large, if you care about that, and the air conditioner was quiet. There is also a ceiling fan. The staff was also easy to work with. The room was outdated as expected and even though the bed was firm and we could not feel springs (I prefer soft/plush) the real down fall was that at 5"1" when I used a second pillow my feet poked off the bottom of the bed.

This was the worst place I've ever stayed in Michigan. They charge alot for terrible out dated rooms. Our rooms smelled liked so.ething died in then and they tried hard to cover it us with strong cleaners making it hard to breathe. There was black mold on my shower curtain and the shower dripped water all night. I don't normally write reviews but the was a terrible experience, I didn't get any sleep because I couldn't breathe and the bed was like concrete. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and it should be shut down.
