Very mediocre hotel in need of renovation. Fridge didn't work, card key lock on door malfunctioned, and ice machine was out of order. On positive side, the front desk staff was wonderful; very nice and helpful.

It is shelter and that is good. But no elevator and no chocolate in vending machine. Not my favorite. Needs work.

Staff is friendly but rooms are small and NOT handicap accessible. Wife could not get around in her chair. The room was not cleaned after we had been out all day had to complain when we got back.
The price was very good but with what we had to go through I can see why.response / report this review -

The team working the front desk for check in and check out were courteous, however the rooms themselves suffer from being outdated as I've come to expect from a lot of days inns. The best way to describe it was"worn". That being said, the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, and that's usually all I'm looking for. I was just passing through, but did see a number of attractions and restaurants that would inspire me to return for an extended weekend perhaps. Breakfast was the usual Continental fair, but also include a hot element (cheese omlets in my case).

I had tickets for a Sight & Sound performance which was 5 minutes away so for the sake of convenience and price, I stayed at this hotel. Thankfully it was one night. It's old and felt really dirty. There is no elevator. The sheets have stains on them. The toilet paper is incredibly cheap. The ice machine needs to be cleaned. When I walked into my room after checking in, it was musty. Check-out is at 11 but breakfast is from 6:30am - 9:00am. I feel like people on vacation shouldn't have to wake up that early to eat so I had to forgo breakfast. In summation, you get what you pay for.

Check-in went smoothly, except a room change was necessary because one of the two rooms had a residual odor of cigarette smoke in the bathroom (despite a no-smoking policy throughout the facility). One person in my party is severely allergic to smoke, and immediately had a mild reaction. The replacement room was promptly offered and had no issues. The other room out party originally got didn't have any serious problems. The image quality on the TV was horrible, but I didn't much care. We later found out we were simply in the "wrong" range of channels, but it was hard to even know which channel we were on visually. The beds were comfortable and I slept well enough though, which to me is the main point of spending the night there. The cost for the value is reasonable too.

Good location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Comfy beds, but our room was very small. With two double beds, there is less than a meter-wide space to move around for four people. We had a patched ceiling in our room and was wandering what was it for. It appeared that it was there because of the leaking roof. When the rain started, water started to drip through that patch. The rain finished quickly so we didn't bother to ask to move to another room. Overall, it's a good accommodation for a quick stay. No bugs, fairy clean and affordable.

The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and met all of our needs. The location was perfect: easy access to all of the local attractions and places to eat. The front desk staff was accommodating and friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely stay here again.

3/10/2017 - 3/12/2017
Checked in late Friday night and departed Sunday morning
First room - NO HEAT!!!
Second room - Toilet seat was barely hanging on, bathroom fan was loose and sounded like it was coming thru the ceiling, bathtub faucet was leaking, hair and dust on the bathroom floors and throughout the room. Finally, there were stains in one of the beds.
Third room - The cable and internet went out during a basketball game (March Madness) and we had to use the phone to finish watching the game. This would be ok if the free wi-fi wasn't one of their self-proclaimed greatest amenities!!! To top it off, on Sunday morning, housekeeping opened our door at 8:30am using their key without knocking first!!! Checkout was at 11am smh!!! Fortunately, the security latch was on.
I left a message for Meena Patel, the general manager, to call me about the unacceptable accommodations of the weekend. (Never happened) On 5 different occasions, I called and left messages for her to resolve this issue and she only called back after I mentioned calling their corporate office. I sent her an emailed copy of the notes I had taken, she claimed she sent it to her manager, Mihir Patel (whom she said was a family friend, after I asked if it was her husband).
After everything was reviewed, she said they would offer a 20% refund and 20% discount on a future stay. Not a chance!!!! We will NEVER, EVER stay here again!!!
The one star is because the front desk staff was very friendly and apologetic!!!*** (They actually seemed quite embarrassed.)
UPDATE (4/10/2017)
We tried to rectify the situation with the hotel general manager to no avail, so we went back thru Expedia and the hotel manager denied a refund with them also. Just know that any 5-star review you see for this hotel has been posted by family or a friend of the family. This hotel is still NASTY and the management only wants your money!!!response / report this review -

From Friday night until Sunday morning.
First room - no heat. Second room - toilet seat was coming off, bathroom fan was loose and it sounded like it was coming thru the ceiling, bathtub faucet was leaking and there were stains in one of the beds. Third room - cable and internet went out and housekeeping came in at 8:30am using their key without knocking first!!! Checkout was at 11am smh!!!

We decided not to even stay at this hotel. The room was was very dusty. The bathroom was not clean: floor needed to be swept, hair on the side of the tub, dust and hair on top of the toilet tank. They have us a new room. First thing we noticed was a spot of poop on the toilet seat, and we didn't go any farther than that. Instead of giving us a new room, which was probably not up to par on cleanliness, they asked us to wait in the lobby while they cleaned the rooms. At that point we decided to find a new hotel. When we went to get our bags they then had issues with the key system and ended up giving us a master key (which didn't work either). But knowing that they would give a master key to a guest did not make us feel safe staying there. Will not stay there again.
