It was clean even though the heater was broken and the fan would never stop running.
Oh and not to mention right next door to a club, 5 blocks from a crack neiborhood that's what the host told us.
Every hour or so sirens.
Do not stay, the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is that it was eh clean.
Not the best neighborhood, dirty towels, old building and amenities. Finicky WiFi as well. Overall experience not great.
We checked in Thursday April 5th. We quickly found out that the motel had NO hot water. We decided to leave and they tried to comp us to a larger room and to please leave a good review for them. We decided to stay to avoid the annoyance of changing motels. Day two now and still no hot water. I regret not changing. We asked about the hot water today and they have no idea when it will he back and have been quite rude.
Me and my friend got this room for one night the rooms are huge they have two beds only thing is they don't have a microwave but at least there's a coffee pot so we can still have coffee and there is no fridgerator but 7-Eleven is right across the street. And unlike most hotels on Colfax there are no bed bugs.
Great staff I had no problems checking in, it was quick and painless. Room was cleaner then I expected after reading the other reviews, smelled fresh and clean. Yes it was noisey but what do expect your right across from to concert venue's. I stayed here because I went to the Filmore and it was so nice to be able to leave the show and walk to my room and chill out instead of dealing with traffic. I will recommend this hotle to anybody going to a concert in that area.
The management tells me they have carried out an investigation for bed bugs, and that they are not present in room 103, however, I have my doubts. I woke up on the second day of my stay (10/27/17) with eleven large and itchy swellings; the following day revealed tell-tale puncture marks. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful. They moved me to another room, which was clean and comfortable.
Its fine. But, the room I was in was rather noisy as it was closest to the road. Heard the people in the room next to me copulating in the morning as well. Small bathroom.
The location to the Fillmore or Ogden Theater is perfect. I'd potentially stay here again if I was going to a show.
I caught a show at the Ogden and stayed at the Days Inn for the night. My room was clean and well kept, but as far as getting restful sleep goes, don't expect it. The club next door bumps music until bar close and it doesn't get reasonably quiet until at least 3am. For the price and proximity to the Ogden, I can't really complain though.
Avoid at any cost.
We were staying here on an office trip for an convention. Online it's listed as days inn downtown but it's in an rundown location. You can clearly see drug dealing out side of the parking lot. People walking all around the area making it look so unsafe. There's is an restaurant or bar where people were so laud and playing music till really late night.
I was so ready to cancel my reservation but the hotels near convention center were all booked.
I was walking to my room and a guy was so drunk in the hallway I thought he was going to fall off the 4th floor.
Room is not bad but Bath wall looks like it is pealing off the paint and it's going to fall during the shower.
Don't stay here. if you are with wife and kids don't take this place even if it's free.
The staff was extremely nice, willing to serve and friendly. The room was very clean and everything was comfortable. Excelllent value for what you are getting. There were some homeless people near the hotel but they didn't bother me. This hotel is not in the main downtown area but is pretty close. I forgot my toothbrush and they gave me one. Overall great experience.
The rooms were clean and they had mini shampoos, it felt more like a hotel than a motel. They have breakfast and it was reasonable for the price. The elevator takes forever and the parking lot is first come first serve so its very hard to get in and out. If you dont show up early then you won't have a place to park.
Impressively mediocre. Exactly what a 2-star hotel is. Mostly, but not totally, clean. Everything dated. Awful neighborhood and lots of yelling. But it has AC and the beds aren't awful, so. Yep.
We were in Denver for a couple of nights to catch a Rockies game and a concert. While the immediate neighborhood is a little sketchy, the location was great and close to the places we planned on going. Great little diner down the road for breakfast. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I forgot my personal pillow at the hotel and they mailed it to me at no cost. I would stay here again.
I was in Denver for a conference meeting in downtown. Days Inn is located on Colfax Blvd, which is not the safest place to walk on. The inn itself is a bit of a walk from downtown. And some might want to pay a little bit more to stay in downtown. The room itself is decent, but always dark and had a perfume smell to cover whatever original smell. I wouldn't recommend this place to others.
Quite nice! It's pretty cheap and rooms and comfortable and smell good. There is no microwave or mini fridge in the rooms so that's delta. Wish there was a wider variety of breakfast items. Other than that it was very good! Staff was friendly and it is very close to everything downtown!
