I've been looking for someone in El Centro to be my hairdresser. I've been to about 4 people before I found Hector at D'Vanci hair salon. He is such a professional, very talented, and reasonably priced. And now he is my hairdresser. After I left, I got such compliments on my hair, that three people took his name and number. The best!

Very great experience overall. I’m from out of town, I called and got a same day appointment. I must say that Hector did such a fabulous job on my hair I would recommend him to everyone! I got so many compliments on how beautiful my hair was. If you’re looking for professionalism this place is it!

Came here to get some hair extensions after a haircut gone wrong.. the guy that helped me did a wonderful job and was very patient(I have a LOT of hair) and helpful, he even called the beauty supply and asked the lady to give me a discount on my extensions I am not from El Centro but next time I come back, I will for sure come back and get my hair done here.. I am absolutely loving my new hair!

I am from out of the area. I googled salons in El Centro and came across many on main street. I saw the review below and told myself I wouldnt try the salon. However, after driving down Main St and checking out all the other "salons" I decided to give this one a try because it was the only one that looked like a reputable salon from the outside. They took me in on a walk in basis and Hector did an amazing job on my highlight/color/ and style. The quality of his work was something I would expect from a big citywithout the big city price.

I was faced away from the mirror as the woman cut my hair so she could socialize with the other employees who were sitting around doing nothing. She spent about 5 minutes cutting my very thick hair and giving me "layers" that looked terrible. I had to ask her to redo them and they still came out terrible. I paid extra for a dry and style. As the woman used her FINGERS to blow dry my hair, I got up and had enough. The man in charge did not charge for the dry and style since I was so livid. When he asked how my haircut was, I told him I had no idea since I was not allowed to see it as my chair was faced away from the mirror the whole time. He did not even offer to fix my hair or comp the "haircut." Oh yeah, I had to explain what I wanted to somebody else since the lady who cut my hair didn't speak English. I will never return to this place and have serious doubts about whether or not the lady who cut my hair was even licensed since she did such a poor and amateurish job.
