From the second I walked in the door I was impressed. There is a beautiful bar upstairs and dinner area down below. The old brick walls give the old Charleston feeling and modern lights and rotate various colors giving a modern twist. I had the "hummingbird" cocktail (it was amazing). The food was delicious as well as the molten chocolate cake. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is it features an open kitchen. Our waiter was wonderful and knew every item on the menu with precision. My husband and I will be going back again!

Food was amazing and so is the service. All the flavors blend and layers with the dish harmoniously. The motherboard is an artisan of charcuterie and cannot be miss

I want to start off by saying that I am in the restaurant industry, so I hardly EVER say anything about a bad experience. This evening, my boyfriend and I decided to eat at Cypress after a day of shopping. We had on jeans, and long sleeve tshirts (obviously we had not planned on eating here or we would have dressed accordingly. First, we decided to eat at the bar upstairs, but after hearing the bartender loudly complain about where people were sitting, we decided to go back downstairs to main dining. We were seated, and then rudely greeted by our waiter, Al. At first I thought he was just having a bad day because of how short he was to us. However, I noticed him at tables around us with older people, dressed business casual, smiling and friendly. My boyfriend tried making small talk, and saying thank you to him, and he didn't respond one time. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable dining in somewhere in my life. We pamper ourselves when it comes to dining out, so it's unfortunate for Al that he stereotyped us. We go out once a week to spoil ourselves, and I am distraught that we wasted it here. It is safe to say that based on our first experience, we will never go back to Cypress. The food was good, and that is the only reason I gave it one star.

Very nice upscale restaurant. We stopped for only a light bite, and the flavor combinations of each of our appetizers were fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly. Thanks!

5 stars all the way. We've eaten here a LOT and have always been more than satisfied. The adult beverages are consistently awesome!
Ambiance and volume level is pleasing. Free parking too!response / report this review
