The guys at Cycles Etc have been fantastic to deal with. Very helpful and informative during the sales process and even better when it comes to after sales support and maintenance. The best bike shop around!!

I just relocated to NH from Ontario, Canada and have been trying a few local shops. My first impression of this shop was actually good and they did a decent job on my daughter's bike. Very friendly staff.
Today I went in there to buy a camelback and I was talked into buying an EVOC HIP Pack Race 3. I bought it for $95 and hated it right from the get go. I didn't ride 300ft and thing would simply slide down to my but and get stuck in the saddle not to mention that it makes for a very awkward mountain bike ride and prevents you from standing in an agile way. I left it in the car and went for my ride. It is simply a bad design.
I stopped at the store later to try to exchange it for the "regular" model like a backpack. I was simply told I can't return it since I used it.
I have been cycling for over 10 years and typically spend at least $500 - $1,000 bucks every season in local bike shops. And I typically buy my bikes locally as well. As I am getting close to update one of my bikes, I will certainly not consider buying it here.
I guess that losing a customer over $95 dollars is a good deal for this shop. Very disappointing.

    Update***
The owner contacted me after reading my review and was very quick to offer a replacement hydration pack at the same price level, which was all I wanted to begin with.
I very much appreciated the fact that he reached out to me directly and made sure I got a brand new replacement item.
We have agreed to a fresh start and I will certainly continue to shop and service my bikes there so I support our local shops and cycling community.

This is a great shop, friendly and well informed. I try to work on my own stuff and have gone in several times when I need help and they are always great regardless of who I talk to. Prices are reasonable and selection is excellent for a relatively small shop.

The staff is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and eager to help with whatever you need. I bought an advanced Mtn Bike there 9 months ago based on their knowledge and helpful cooperative attitude. Price was competitive also. I've had no reason to regret it. And service. I bring them my two road bikes and two mountain bikes and they do a great job with them. They listen closely to what you say (rare!) and respond specifically to that. The people who own the place work there. This is what all local bike shops should be. They're 25 miles away and I'd still go there if they were 50. Really.

Helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone uses the stuff they sell and they understand those of us who are weekend or occasional riders. They have a great selection of bikes from huge fat tires to skin road racing bikes. Accessories so kids can customize their bikes and make it more fun to ride. The had colored pedels, hand grips and tires. I even saw a basket. Prices were fair and the service great.

    Update***

Charged more than estimate. Parts were changed without permission. Bike cleaning.the bike chain and parts were very dirty. Posting pictures after "cleaning and tune-up" was estimated $150 was charged $285+ manager lowered price and apologized for doing work without permission. I still had to pay more than estimate.

Owner reached out after posting of my review. My bike was still not fixed. Owner asked me to bring the bike back and it would be repaired correctly at no charge.

I told him what I thought was wrong with the bike. They replaced the parts and now it rights perfect. Thank you for reaching out. If you have an issue reach out to the owner.

Owner also explained that bike tune up does not include chain and other parts cleaning. I was not told this at the time of service. Now they replaced the parts so I cannot comment on their $20+? Detail parts cleaning offered.

Customers should have to be worried about extra work being done without permission. I did pay more than the estimate, but State law does not force me to do so.

This is a review that's a little over due. I purchased my bike from Cycles Etc back about 7 months ago. Prior to purchasing my bike I spent a large amount of time in and out of bike stores. I lost count of how many times iv been to Cycles etc. Every time I went there the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. During my search Cycles even provided me with a few demoes.

After finally pulling the trigger I had brake problems within the first week. I called Cycles's and dropped my bike off an hour later. The next day I received a call from Bob saying that there's a manufacturer defect and there sending me out an upgraded brake set. The set back being, I'd be out of a bike for a week. During the down time Cycles provided me with one of there demos to use until I got mine back.

A few months after that. I went to one of there Santa Cruz demos. My girlfriend was next in line for a new bike. While she was testing bikes out I got a flat and didn't happen to have a tube. After pushing my bike back to the parking lot I met up with Bob. Asked if they happened to have a tube. One of the guys with him happened to have one and helped me put it on.

A few months after that I started having issues with my dropper post. While in the process of getting it under warranty they put one of there post on so I can ride my bike in the mean time.

Cycles etc has been nothing but AMAZING!!!They have fixed all my issues and kept me roiling as quickly as possibly. There friendly, knowledge, have a great selection, and back what they sell. I highly recommend them for your next purchase.
