Good spot for all things motorcycle related. Good selection of apparel. If they don't have it in stock, they will get what you want in a reasonable time frame

Not a LOT of shops in the metro area to buy MC gear. I have found some items that other stores do not carry. Prices are more than reasonable. Due to the proximity to Avon, IN., this is the 1st store I will go to to find specific items for MC safety or maintenance.

11 years of giving Cycle Outfitters my money & because of their knowledge, passion, value & their speedy service department - I don't have a single complaint. • I would rather support and build rapport with a local business than Revzilla or similar. Thanks guys.

Giving cycle outfitters a big shout out! I recently bought brand new front tirefrom them which they mounted and balanced on my rim and I mounted on the motorcycle. Turns out the tire had a wobble to it from the start. I took it back to them and they inspected the machine, the rim and the balance and everything checked out OK. They then contacted their tire representative and by Monday a new tire was on the way. I had them install the replacement tire today and now the machine rolls down the road smooth as glass like it's supposed to.

I brought my 2007 V-Star in to Cycle Outfitters to have new tires & brakes installed, as well as an oil change. The service techs did a great job - it's like a whole new riding experience. Tires with labor were very comparatively priced. During my wait, I was educated and fitted on Shoei helmets, and had a Bluetooth kit installed in it. Sales staff is not commissioned, and clearly have a lot of experience with motorcycles and the necessary gear. Thanks Cycle Outfitters

Took my bike to this place to have tires put on it. Riding home the bike just didn't feel right so I started looking everything over and realized the rear brakes were not working. They worked before the bike went into this "shop". One of the managers even admitted this was a mistake on they're part but when I took the bike back a few days later they refuse to do anything about it. So now the bike is going to Harley and going to cost me more money to fix what they screwed up

Great place!!! Been loyal since I got my first bike. All the staff here are really generous and help me find what I need and even suggest better options. They let me know when my parts have come in the second they get them. I highly recommend anybody who rides to go and check them out. I recommend them anytime I can.

Utterly rude staff. Zero customer service attitude. Staff acts like they're doing you a huge favor just for doing their job. Very hard to deal with. The staff acts more like they're running a private social club for jerks with no social or service skills, rather than a business trying to earn customer loyalty by providing solid service. Walking in there feels like you're interrupting their conversation. They only begrudgingly get around to speaking with you.
The South Side of Indy usually has a rough, belligerent, lousy level of service.
Look at the responses made by Cycle Outfitters to the other comments complaining about the poor service. The official position of the business in response to criticism is rude, rough, unapologetic and bespeaks an unwillingness to improve.response / report this review
