What a little slice of deliciousness. Tucked away in a hotel restaurant is this little escape to India with a very basic yet rich lunch buffet of Indian food. The choices change daily and the flavors are impecable. There are a lot of options to choose from and the service was very personal. We would recommend this as an absolute visit for anyone who loves Indian food or wants to try it for the first time. Price $$ reasonable.

Our only drawback was the worker smoking in the door opening we went in and were waived into by worker. Getting hit with a plume of cigarette smoke was less than appealing. After the fact though, we are guessing they prefer customers to come in through main hotel entrance. Open floor plan. Food excels where decor suffers.

This place has great food and they have helped the community when times were tough. They are located inside the main entrance to the hotel but when I tried to find it, the Google pin took me away from the main entrance. It is so important that we keep this business going because they put everything on the line to help those who were in need. If you don't know what I am talking about, google curry kitchen.

We ate at Curry Kitchen for the lunch buffet. We were drawn to this restaurant by the smells outside- amazing! And, well, if you've never had Indian food before, you might like this place. However, for Indian food, this is the worst of all of the places we've been to. Maybe it's because all of the others were amazing and this place was marginal It really lacked in flavor, spice and heat- all things we expect from Indian food really disappointing! The naan was the worst we've ever had- under cooked and fluffy. The dishes in the stack of clean ones were dirty. On the plus side, they did offer 10+ items at the buffet and the one (only) thing I liked was the saag, which had chickpeas in it which everyone at our table liked. Also, unlike other Indian food places, THIS place had really nice bathrooms- a rare find among Indian food restaurants. All in all, if I wanted Indian food again, we would make it at home (and have had better results). We won't go here again and wouldn't recommend it.

I love this restaurant! My favorite place to eat in GR right now. The portions are pretty large so I often get leftovers and it is just as good the next day. There are tons of vegetarian options as well. And I've heard they have a nice lunch buffet. Service is great. I could talk all day about how much I love it. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Fantastic lunch buffet. The staff has always been super kind, and the food is quite tasty. Personal favorite is the butter chicken, though that have plenty of vegetarian friendly dishes available as well. Quick service helps make this a fantastic spot for lunch if you don't have long.

I walked in and a group of 4 walked in right behind me, got a table, stared at everyone being served, no one came greeting or even giving a menu/asking if I wanted water to drink, sat on the table for 10 min and walked out. The ambiance is really poor and the place is cramped. Unfortunately I had a bad experience.

Good place. Generous serving sizes and plenty of rice. The flavor is not outstanding but will satisfy an Indian food craving. The outside can be a turn off but inside is cozy and comfortable.

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city so far. Service is prompt, polite, and professional. Meanwhile the food something that will keep you coming back. Try the Gobi Manchurian for a real pan-asian classic treat.

This is my favorite Indian buffet restaurant. The food is very flavorful (you can taste more of the curry and other seasonings better compared to some of the other places I used to frequent nearby). They also serve more of my favorites. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wish the buffet was bigger and offered more and I wish there was more than just the one dessert on the buffet. If they were to expand the buffet and add more dessert options, it would easily be a 5-star.

I am new to Grand rapids. This is pretty quiet place but yummy food. Ordered a bunch of food and tried a few different things is very delicious and very pleased waiter staff. Really I enjoyed this place. I recommend every one who wants best food and service in town.
Really I enjoyed authentic Indian cuisine at this place.

Amazing! My table was stocked full of delicious entres and breads. It looked like the lost boys and Peter Pan with an imaginary dinner buffet. But it was all in front of me. Every dish had exciting flavor with spicing that was so on point. Everything adds up to a meal that is simply,perfect.

Love their lunch buffet. There's not a large selection due to the size of the place, but the quality of the food has been consistently good. They changed up the items slightly each time I have been there so they would have things I knew I liked but also some new items to try.
