Perfect location in the heart of key West, in an historic building. Nice heated pool and clean room with a/c and cable TV. Just the a/c is quite noisy at night, I had to turn it of, but there's a fan on the roof that provide enough cool to the room.
This is a very nice B&B. Excellent service and a great price! I would definitely come back. Close to Duval.
A classical old style B&B with modern touches like heated pool, wifi and bbq you can use too, we did for several evening mealsa meal by the pool, wine and no heavy music. It's a cool way to be!
The host 'Sandy' is really helpful, knows people to go see and get special deals.a gem!
Great pool for a B&B. Room is clean. Breakfast is lower than expected.
This was my first time staying at a B&B and it was such a great experience!
The house was a cute place conveniently located a few blocks from Duval Street. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The cost per night was affordable.
The best part was how accommodating the staff was. We stayed here only one night, and checked out the next morning. Our flight was late in the evening, so we wanted to hang out longer in Key West. Sandy allowed us to store our luggage at the house, gave us a suggestion on what beach to visit, let us borrow towels and even shower when we returned back to the house. It was nice that even though we had already checked out, we were still treated with hospitality!
I would highly recommend staying here, and it's likely I'll come back!
I stayed @ The Curry House in 1012 to celebrate my 33rd birthday and had a most special stay. The facility is updated, clean & decorated in the most delightful way. I'm currently in Key West again on my honeymoon but I couldn't get the room that I wanted on consecutive nights. I settled for another bed & breakfast thinking it would not be a big deal. Well it is!!! Wow do I wish I had picked a different room in the curry house! When we return in March 2017 I will make sure it's the Curry House we are in. I walked in to show my husband the place yesterday and Sandy the Inn keeper was amazingly gracious. Even gave us a honeymoon bottle of wine and set us up by the pool to enjoy it. Great place and great job Sandy! See u next year 😘
quaint, clean and friendly. I would stay there again !!! great pool too !
The Curry House is marketed as a bed and breakfast. There is no staff on site during after hours though they do have an emergency answering service. The first day here the owner was not available to make hot breakfast. They set up about 5 different types of bread to make your own toast, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The second morning we had scrambled eggs with corned beef hash and make your own toast. We didn't even try their breakfast the 3rd morning and the fourth morning we left before left before staff arrived.
We had a shared bathroom, which was awkward when the lady hovered and dribbled all over the seat. I understand the B&B can't stop people from being nasty, but that was our shared bathroom experience. We also managed to lock ourselves out of the bedroom and had to call the emergency number. We sat in the car and waited for the guy to let us in, specifically asking the dispatcher to have him call us when he arrived. 50 minutes later we called back for a status check and she (the dispatcher) said he had already been there, couldn't find us, and had unlocked our door (leaving all of our valuables insecure). They lock the gate and front door to the house so we were still locked out. When the guy arrived to let us he in said he had not been out before and this was his first trip to the house. Things didn't add up.
The good parts about our stay were that we were in walking distance to Duval street and the fun tourist spots, the heated pool, the wrap around porch we had access to from our room, in room refrigerator, window ac unit, WiFi, and the manager was helpful when he was there.
The disappointing parts were breakfast, lack of parking, lack of directions to non-residential parking, over an hour wait to be let back into the room, and the shared bathrooms.
