We stayed here this weekend for 2 nights, and I have to say, it's a great place, and would def stay there again. First off, Bobby who greeted us at the front desk was amazinggave us such a warm welcome, was super friendly, and allowed us to upgrade to a much nicer room, with a much nicer view (the room I booked was nice, but a tad dark), and provided some great tips on where to dine. The facility is super clean (which is so important to us), as are the grounds, the amenities can't be beat, it is quite laid back and provides a relaxing atmosphere, is in a very safe, quiet yet convenient location (just a short walk to Duval St), and close to the other clothing optional guest houses if you want to visit for their happy hours. Speaking of which, The Equator has a great one from 5pm-6:30pm, and free drinks for guests. Speaking of the guests, they were also greatmany nudists, without it being "intense", if you know what I meanvery casual. So if you're planning a visit to Key West, I would highly recommend this placeI give it 5 stars!!!

Had a wonderful time while exploring Key West. Staff very friendly and helpful and met great guys from around the world staying at this facility. Highly recommend to any guys looking for a relaxing nonjudgmental environment. Look forward to our next visit.

I recently made my first trip to Key West, and had the opportunity to reside at Equator. New to any type of tropical "resort" destination, Equator felt right at home the moment I walked in. The staff, other guests, and grounds were impeccable. I was truly relaxed and disconnected during my stay here. It is in a great location, unless you are physically unable to walk, I highly recommend staying on foot and enjoying all the island has to offer just a short distance from Equator. I felt no judgement or self-awareness due to the clothing optional policy, it was a truly classy and elegant experience. Thank you Equator, and Bobby and the rest of the staff!

It's only my second day here ,but so far I am very satisfied with my stay. The place has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs ,all operational 24/7 and a happy hour every day with complimentary drinks. My room is a bit on the small side ,but I can't really complain about it either since it has everything I need plus the private balcony compensates for the overall size .

Very friendly staff and well maintained facilities. The daily open bar happy hour doesn't hurt either. We were in room 23 and this one has NO storage in the bathroom for toiletries and such, except for a thin rim around the sink. Also, one of the "special" channels was offline during our entire stay, but there were six others, so not a big deal. Everything else was great.

We booked at Equator as a second choice since Island House was full turns out we liked it more! Super friendly and relaxed atmosphere, our room was very cute and cozy, the shower top notch, humongous with two heads. They have two pools, we brought our friends over and played naked all evening during the happy our and had a blast. The staff was so nice to us at all times! I also liked the fact that not only our clean but all facilities were very clean and updated. Definitely coming back.

Resort was clean, the front desk staff was very polite and professional, with a pleasant demeanor. The support staff that cleans the resort were neutralthey could be a little friendlier as I found them to be a bit disconnected and aloof. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Location was very good and walking distance to a lot of the action on Duval. We got in a bit late and the check in was fast as there was someone at the front. Only point that wasn't the best is that parking is almost impossible around the resort. It's all street parking with very limited parking for visitorsit's mostly for residents. So get ready to have to either drop your bags at the front and go and wander and park or drag your bag for a few blocks to get to the resort. The breakfast was simple, but good. Pool area was nice and clean with plenty of towels available. I didn't get to take part in the happy hour, but it seemed to be popular as there were a lot of people by the pool during that time every day. The guests that were staying at the resort were all very nice and friendly. Good conversation and we made a few new friends. Will definitely be returning! A very nice experience overall.

When I check in my room was not ready, but I don't mind because I enjoy the nice pool area while I was waiting for my room. I did not wait that long and soon my room was ready the front desk clerk help my with my suit case to my room. I was very happy with my room, beautiful and comfortable away from the swimming pool area. Most of the front desk staff friendly and some of them attentive. The support staff most of them don't look friendly or smile and they look like they have been trained not to greet the guests. This is very private place, clean and comfortable and near the Duval Street. In addition, nudity is allow around the pool area, which make it very interested. If you like the freedom of being naked this place is for you. I will recommend this place for anyone that is looking for privacy and comfort. This is my first time at Equator Resort, I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Key West. September 2016, 6 days.

Great place to come and relax. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Duval for entertainment but far enough away to bypass the excitement of the busy street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Happy Hour is great for meeting the other guests of the resort, if you chose to. Parking spaces is a bit of an issue but it is Key West! 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis and a poolside bar. Will definitely be returning soon!
