My girlfriend and I have been renting from them for five years now. We have been good tenants and paid our rent on time. Over the years we have been looking for a home of our own and recently we found one that we both love and could afford. When trying to move out of our apartment Curran charged us almost $900 to break our lease: and even though we broke our lease and they have since put our apartment up for rent we are still having to pay rent until our lease is up in February. They took our keys so we don’t have any acces to the rental until and now will be charging us $60 more a month for tv and internet (which we never asked for) and are not able to use. So on top of paying our monthly mortgage and utilities we now have to pay almost $1000 for a rental unit we can’t use or access. Not the quality I would have expected from such a community wide company.

I've been renting from Curran and Company for about 7 months now. I must say I do enjoy renting from them. Though it hasn't been long, when my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to live together they were extremely helpful in finding us the perfect place! Though a little disappointed that someone had taken the apartment we wanted a few days before we put down the cash for it. It all worked out! The building is very quiet and those we have encountered in our building have been very nice.
At my Lincoln avenue apartment, whenever I had a maintenance issue it was always fixed right away! The staff is extremely pleasant to deal with, and again really nice. And for you dog lovers, if you go to Curran and Company to pay your rent, sometimes you get to play with the dogs.

I love this company. If I chose to stay in Marquette after graduation, I would stay with Curran & Company. They always fixed everything on a timely manner. When I was opening the medicine cabinet, it just fell off of the wall. I scheduled a maintenance request and the next day, came and installed a brand new medicine cabinet, with no charge. When the maintenance crew, come in and fix something in my apartment and I'm not there. I always find a nice letter from them and candy. Exceptional rental company. Only the best!

My family and I had a great experience living in the Streamside Townhomes. Staff is very friendly, the property is very well maintained, and any maintenance requests were taken care of right away. They also host a lot of fun events to get all the neighbors together. Great place to live!

I've been renting from Curran for about 2.5 years, and overall it has been a very good experience. There are definitely some properties that are built more cheaply than others, but they are new, clean and generally quiet. Maintenance issues are typically resolved quickly, rental agreements are fair, and the grounds are very well maintained. I love that the grounds crew works around our crew instead of forcing cars out at 9am if there's more than an inch of snowthis is Marquette, anyway. The staff works hard to put on community events, and several of the staff members live in Curran properties. Like any landlord, not everything is perfect, but overall I have had a good experience living here the past couple years.

I moved into Curran and Company Hillside building in the fall of 2015. They were able to accommodate everything I asked for in a short period of time before moving in. Their service is great. The roads and parking are cleared EARLY and often after every storm. I once had to put it a request for service due to a cold room. The same day they were out and had the problem resolved quickly. They make rent payments easy through their website, and even send reminders via email. I would highly recommend their buildings - they are clean, well kept, and well maintained. All you could ask for as a renter.

I presently rent from this company and I will not be doing it again. They are extremely unprofessional. I rent a unit that has a shared parking lot, which constantly gets full by people who are not tenants. I and other tenants have called multiple about this. More often than not the problem is not addressed and even ignored. Due to this I have stopped trying. I am writing this review because I came home to find them towing my car. Since it was parked in an illegal spot due to there not being any available. When I called they were not accommodating and they wouldn't give me a number to call for towing. Its obvious that their tenants are only a check. I should have listened to previous tenats about their service. If you are looking for a quality landlord then Curran & Company is not it.
