The staff are doing a great job working out of temporary facilities after the damage they experienced from the last huricane season.
Visit to this center was part of my Tamiami Triathlon. Wanted to do Kayaking in this part of Everglades. Rangers were pleasant and helpful. They gave all the details and required information and the Map for Kayaking. Map that they provided went little out of sync that might be my fault. But got help from police guards while in the water.
Great place from which to start a kayak trip. We started here and kayaked to Flamingo over 7 days. Left a car here for a week until we completed our journey. Don't leave your window cracked or your car will be soaked when you return.
Captain DeWayne and his mate Daniel were awesome! We had an excellent adventure with them. They are extremely knowledgeable in all facets of Everglades City and the wildlife residing in it! We will definitely be seeing them again!!!
If you are looking for the hole experience in the Everglades, most go there and try the food. Simple but perfect.
enjoyed the boat ride! awesome
Nice boat tour. We saw dolphins, manates and lot's of birds.
A great little place for information and souvenirs.
Park of the Everglades National Park, this facility has a good kayak and canoe launch point with easy access to the waterfront for unloading. Parking is ample and close by the launch point.
We are national park junkies so my review may be a little bias.We have taken the boat ride may times over the years usually with friends that come down to visit us from up north the new pontoon boats that they're using are very fast and really wonderful. The narration is always great and we have a wonderful time every time ago this is a do not miss experience.
