Crystal Chevy Sells Unsafe Cars. Not a good experience at all. Too bad I have to choose at least one star. Heres my experience. Took a truck in for trade. It was my wish to downsize and save money. I went to Crystal Chevy and a tidy little used Ford Ranger was found. I agreed to purchase it and the deal was done. Now heres the sweet part..not a full month later I received a letter from Ford stating this vehicle is in a open recall because it contains killer Takata airbags. Crystal Chevy is now claiming ignorance even though they claimed it had been inspected for saftey. Further research on my part found the vehicle had been previously registered with The Fl Dept of Traffic & Saftey as under open recall. My only recourse now is either wait for yet unmade replacment parts( which may not be availble until spring of 2018 ) or to pursue legal council regarding auto fraud laws. So.. No.. I do not recommend Crystal Chevy to anyone. They do not research their vehicles before selling them and they do not stand behind the sale. If you do decide to buy please ask them if theres any open recalls or if you or a family member could be subjected to injury or death in one of their vehicles. Hopefully you will decide to just shop somewhere else and not risk getting shafted like I did.
Purchased a new 2016 Malibu premier from coastal Chevrolet in Savannah GA. Wife was in Crystal river FL, tire going flat. She brought it in to Crystal Chevy. Arnold told her we weren't in the system for our tire warranty, we would have to buy this tire for $317 and get reimbursed. Then suggested to my wife she get an $89 alignment ?!? On a car 2 months old? Told her he wouldn't drive the car, (it has a lug in the sidewall) pulled the car off the rack, did not offer to change bad tire with donut, nothing He put her life in danger doing that, and what is with trying to sell her an alignment on a brand new car? This tire is a back tire. Very big dissatisfied. I have purchased 6 brand new Chevrolet vehicles in my lifetime, might have to explore other options now
"Edited" fast forward, my wife who works in Crystal River went into this dealership again, and Arnold recognized her, asked if her husband (me) wrote the review on him on Facebook, (not Facebook Arnold, your dealership Google rating) he then proceeds to tell her "we don't want your business" wow, I have given this dealership MONTHS to get in touch with me, so I wouldn't give another bad review, and I only received a generic email, so now I rate you Arnold as a service writer ----> 1 only because I can't give you a zero. You sir are rude, arogant and a plain jerk. You should have jumped at the opportunity to right yourself in the eyes of the customer. Merry Christmas!
Thank you to manager rob, salesman Brian Jones, and financing matt for helping me get a new vehicle. Everything was excellent and I would definitley buy from again!
Looks pretty impressive when you walk in but the service prices are outrageous! They wanted over $400 to replace a blown hose. Husband replaced it himself in parking lot for $30. Enough said!
Dealing with Brian was the best experience! . No rushing. He was very .
thorough. I will be very happy with my purchase. I will be a return customer.THANK YOU BRIAN
Mr. Arnold as such a delightful service manager at Crystal Chevrolet very knowledgeable very polite he takes the time with the customer and makes them feel welcome and appreciated I will take my vehicles back to him and have them serviced I will give mr. Arnold 5 stars
The vehicle looked as if nothing ever happen to it. Looked like new, the service was fast, got my car back in 4 days. When i picked up the car it was very clean. And the shop was also very clean and organized.
Do not shop here! So many issues with them. The salesman even had the nerve to tell me that the 2017 Silverado won truck of the year. In fact the Nissan Titan did. The sales manager was even worse. He literally told me that he was going to "educate me" on the car sales business and how to "spend my money the right way." He then arrogantly tells me that I can just "sit on my poker hand" and not cave into their offer. He kept asking my pre approval interest rate over and over and I kept having to explain that I did not feel comfortable talking about that until we can agree on a final price. He began talking down to me and treating me like I was dumb. These assholes will use every single tactic against you to try to get you to cave into them. Avoid them, you can find much friendlier salespeople. They WILL rip you off. I should have left sooner but in the end, they got put in their place.
John is always the best. Patient and explains all the options. See John to purchase your next car or truck. New or used.
Rob and John are so AWESOME.!!! 😆They were so friendly and helpful and I so appreciate all there efforts to help me. I'm now driving my frist new car ever!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
Great purchase experience with Crystal Chevy. Found the exact truck that I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I was very happy with my overall experience with Larry Hurst and sales manager Rob at Crystal Chevy. I would recommend everyone go see Larry Hurst as he answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable on the Chevy vehicles. I will definintely be back to buy from Larry and Crystal Chevy again.
The store manager Bo is incredibly nice. I've purchased here before, and am always made to feel welcome. At the same time, the sales staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I feel I was treated fairly on the price, and appreciate them working so hard to get me a great deal on my new silverado!
Very nice experience. Coffee was made and donuts and muffins were also there. Desktop computers are nice to check your email but need updates. Everyone had their happy face on. My work was done in a timely manner. I have to say that last time I got my oil changed here they left the filter loose. I had oil on my garage floor. I had my son in law tighten it up thank god he noticed it. I'm happy with this place and the whole experience though. Thank you for making it an easy experience for everyone.
