The room was very spacious and clean, especially the bathroom. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the basic breakfast area so they actually gave us a voucher for the "deluxe" breakfast on the 1st floor, which was very good food.

    This hotel is a joke.
Wall is paper thin, in the room you can hear any movement from the hallway.
Hall way and room have an old and weird smell.
Bathroom vent doesn't work and shower doesn't drain.
Heating in room didn't work and was freezing.
Had to call 4 times for extra blanket and took them almost 3 hours to bring it.
Breakfast is as bad as Daily Inn, actually might be even worse.
    Would definitely avoid.

The front desk staff was very accommodating. Pet friendly a plus- and I didn't hear or see any other pets the whole stay. Would stay again.

The hotel needs a little TLC. The elevator button lights never seemed to stay on so got were constantly second guessing if you actually called the elevator. Then one of the elevators always seemed to want to go to the lobby before going up to the floor when you called it from any other floor to go up. The ice machine on my floor didn't work. Oh and wow The walls seemed paper thin as I could hear conversations from other rooms fairly easily.

Had a kiddo who was not cooperating with the night drive so booked a room over the phone around 2 am. Staff wasn't in lobby for about 3 minutes when we got there but it was a quick check-in and they were helpful with a late check-out and various other info. Bed was awesome. Could have had some more leg room in the bathroom at the toilet so when my kids burst open the door on my reign in the throne my knees could have survived.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel during my trip to Lake Compounce Park. I found it to be clean and quite comfortable. There were only 2 of 3 elevators working, but they were getting the job done. The pool is not actually in the same building, and it's a bit of a walk to get there - almost feels like a rat in a maze. Once you do get there, the pool is small, but nice. Housekeeping was fantastic.
The biggest problem during my stay, as others have mentioned, is the super bright lighting of the parking lot. If your room happens to face this way, it feels that you're on stage if the drapes are open. Also, the noise from the interstate gets into the room quite well - you can hear the traffic fairly well all day and all night. (Maybe some new windows are needed to deaden the noise.)
The prices of things inside the hotel were a little high, but the room rate was very competitive. I would have no problem returning to this hotel, IF I could stay on the "dark side."

Very clean and spacious. The king size bed was DIVINE! They also gave me a glass of wine when I walked in the door. Automatic 5 star for that, haha.

Clean and well maintained. Parking lot was recently redone and check-in was quick. Did receive a bill for someone else under the door however, so only giving 4 starts.

This hotel is actually really clean and usually very accommodating of my special needs. I stay here about every other week while I am working in the area as I work long odd hours I like to check in on my lunch hour at noon or 1 and as with most hotels their check in is at 3 or 4 not very friendly. The crown is great I call ahead around 11 and tell them I need an earlier check in and they have always accommodated me, so I get my room key then when I work to midnight or 1 am I can just go to the room no need to hassle at the desk with check in when I am exhausted after working.

A very nice hotel. Friendly and efficient staff from check in until check out. The breakfast includes fresh fried eggs, you have to order them at the table.

The rooms themselves are great and alone I would say 5 star quality. They are clean comfortable, spacious. The biggest issue is that the staff is not friendly at all. When I check into a hotel I would expect a friendly hello, a warm welcome. It's almost as if you are bothering them when you approach the desk. They are very unorganized and messed up my reservation 3 times. That's 3 different times I had to call back when finally I called the corporate office to make my changes. On a few occasions I approached the front desk to purchase water and multiple employees were standing around chatting it upLooked at me like "ugh what do you want." I would recommend staying merely for the convenience of the hotel and the nice rooms. But honestly, I don't care how nice your rooms are some of the staff need a major lesson on customer service. Just beware of the rudeness of the staff!
