From the outside it didn't look like much, but upon entering the lobby my opinion changed instantly. Beautiful decor and friendly staff greeted us and I was only there for dinner. Next time I will stay the night because the first 30 seconds of my visit make me want to experience the entire ride. Definitely check it out!
I am normally not a review writer but I have to say something. I checked into the hotel and when I got up to my room I noticed it was not what I had reserved, no apology or heads up from anyone. I then move to a king bedroom only to find the air conditioner did not work. Finally, I get locked out of my hotel room because my key didn't worknot one but twice. Brought it up to management with little to no response. It made me sad because I was here on company business trip. Just food for thoughtmaybe a run of bad luck but dang! Did not enjoy my stay here
Company Christmas Party, this was our 2nd time using this venue. The ballroom was nice. There was a side room attached that we were able to setup a bar and buffet which allowed us to keep the main area for tables and a dance floor. There was also a check in desk that we were able to use. The event coordinator was great. They charged a fair price and even donated some free 1 night hotel stays with breakfast for 2 for us to raffle off to employees.
Great location, but terrible two night experience. Noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at, and the staff was not responsive and liked to pass me and other guests to other staff members instead of addressing the issue. One morning I asked where I could find a Wall Street Journal and the front desk sent me to the hostess at the restaurant. Once I asked the hostess she dismissed me to the front desk and was bothered with my simple question. The noises came from hammering that the hotel swore I was imagining. I guess me and 5 other guests imagined a miracle phenomena.
I also don’t like being surprised with a rediculous parking fee for an open unmonitored parking lot with no accountability of who’s paid for parking or not. That price should be exposed upfront and not sprung on to guests as they check in. Literally EVERY GUEST who checked in at the same time I did were upset about it. ($15 a day at a substandard hotel is outrageous)
Long story short, your staff and your surprise fees makes your hotel overpriced and absolutely overrated. Future guests and companies, visit or utilize them at your own risk, but don’t expect excellence or a quiet restful stay.
Excellent prices (booked in advance to lock in a good rate). Staff is pleasant and efficient. The room themselves are slightly small, but very nice and modern. Hotel restaurant and bar are overpriced, and the food quality is pretty poor. Overall, an excellent stay with great staff, but would not recommend eating at the hotel.
The location is great for conferences. The hotel offers shuttle service to local malls and there are local restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are nicely organized but most important, clean and comfortable. The food was very welcoming, well seasoned and desert, delicious. Hospitality was great.
Recently renovated hotel. Elevator being worked on during a busy Friday. Wet paint during a busy Saturday, why not do this stuff during the weekdays? Room I received had damaged fixtures. Group discount price wasn't "discount" most likely won't be holding our next event here.
It's ok but nowhere near a 4 Star hotel. There is one pool not two. The hot tub doesn't work. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything around and above you. There was some black stain on the wall in the closet area. The landscaping by the pool is lovely. Heath at the front desk was super nice. All in all, it is overpriced.
Front desk people were absolutely charming! They were super attentive and kind (i think her name was Leslie or lisa?) even though there were a lot of people waiting to check in. I had maintenance come look at my thermostat(i couldn't figure out how it worked)and was also blown away by how kind he was. The staff is amazing and the food was excellent. the only thing that is hard is trying to find rooms.
They don't really let you know till you get there that it's going to cost you 15 a night for parking.
Plus there was a super loud wedding going on our first night that we could hear in our room, and a bunch of drunk people and kids running around outside the ballroom.
The whole place is super confusing and the front desk lady didn't even tell me where my room was.
When I went back to ask they were very mean and acted like I was dumb.
The smoking area is at the pool. I mean people sat in the pool smoking!
Our shower curtain was moldy and our bed had sand in it when we got in the first night. There was no hair dryer and when I asked for one, was told they didn't have one.
Definitely do not recommend.
Rooms were very clean. Very friendly customer service. Hotel shuttle service was a great amenity offering rides to local destination. Hotel a walk or short ride from many restaurants and stores.
The rooms are small but comfortable. Parking is not free. Self parking is $14.00 and valet is $19.00 a night. Wifi signal is weak which cause the signal to drop often. But over all customer service is great and the building is beautiful.
I hope you are not here in a business trip or need WiFi at any point during your stay. It is so bad, it won't connect to any page at all, even Google homepage times out. The connection itself keeps dropping as well.
I am trying to join a video conference and the front desk told me to go to the lobby for better connection. I cannot discuss the matters of the meeting in an open forum. This is a disaster, all I can do at this point is laugh because this is such a joke. Never again.
Holiday Inn has a better connection than this.
The front desk blamed it on their occupancy level shouldn't that be taken into consideration when setting up your comm systems. Done.
Nice place, nicely busy. The event I attended was professionally produced. Nice ballroom, good sound. Breakfast buffet food was hot and tasty.
It is a 3 star hotel with fancy look, I don't really know what was the person thinking when they are giving 4 star to this hotel, I guess it is just the name.
Be careful when you booking this hotel as you will be checking in with a guy he is more like custom clearance officer than receptionist they will charge you 14$ for parking space ( this is either disgusting or ridiculous I just could not decide so) when you trying to find your room that was ridiculous , on second floor 5 people walking up and down trying to find their rooms we were actually smiling to each-other
When you get to your room , I know better rooms in 2.5 and 3 star hotels. It felt cheap does not really deserve the money they charged. Pictures enclosed.
Be careful don't fall over the bed :)
I think people should consider choosing next best hotel paying extra 15-20 dollars( you will save that money with free parking)
I am giving 2 stars because it was clean (at least)
