If you want to find a quiet oasis in the North Georgia Mountains, you must visit Creekwood Campground. We usually camp in state parks and was reluctant to stay at a private campground, I was extremely surprised with this gem of a campground. We lucked out by having Unicoi State Park booked solid on veterans day weekend. After driving thru Unicoi State Park Campground to compare the 2 camp grounds, Creekwood Excelent and Unicoi is a good campground.

Creekwood has paved, level sites, with a picinic table on a nice pad of rocks, and a large grassy area with a fire pit. There is plenty of space between each campsite, and towering trees for great shade. They also had cable tv with over 80+ channels. The WiFi was the BEST ever in a campground. If you are ever in the Helen GA area or the North GA Mountians you should Call Creekwood Campground to see if they have any space available. You will not regret it!

Cindy and I have been to Creekwood 3 times. We have reservations for spring and fall of 2018 again. I love it there, Melissa and Robert treat us like family. It is is a nice clean quiet place to park our RV. Every day we would be greeted by Melissa or Robert upon return of our adventures. This is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. Explore the north Georgia mountains without the crowds of other mountain resorts areas. Can not wait till I can go again!

Creekwood is a very nice rv resort. Robert & Melissa are great hosts and they know the area very well, so don;t be afraid to ask for directions or a recommendation. Melissa recommended a local tavern that my wife and I had dismissed from another review and it was amazing! The campground is small, quaint, charming and most importantly in summer, shaded! Sites are a bit tight for a very large rig, but our 40' Diesel fit fine. All sites are paved and have great landscaping and are very very clean. Park amenities are normal but nice, WIFI is iffy, like most mountain places, but who needs internet you're camping! Verizon cell service was ok. This is not the park for families or people with young children, it is more suited to couples or for folks who want peace and quiet in the Helen area. It is near a roadway, but noise was never loud enough for me to notice. Melissa and Robert will meet you and guide you in when you get there, this may seem overbearing to some, but they've worked hard to build up a nice place and don't want an accident to cause damage for you or their property. Only problem we had was we had to leave very early and I was told it upset some other guests. I've managed rv parks and properties before and unfortunately some have to leave earlier than others, but it shouldn't be an issue. We will be back when in the Helen area again. If you like peace, quiet, and a clean well kept park with the most helpful owners, this is it. GO see them.

Have been camping there four times. Consistent quality . Sites are level side to side, not much difference in back to front. It is the mountains. Small campground which has it advantagespersonal attention when you arrive. If your good or bad they will help you back in..it's a good thing. Ice, wood or conversation they have but do not intrude. They know Helen and the surrounding area so ask. Next to a road that has some traffic but not as much as you have in a large park with traffic all the time 15 feet away. I'm going back.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful spots to relax. Quiet, secluded, spacious RV sites and cabins with all the amenities. Marked hiking trails right outside your front door (picture). Quick trip to town for some great German food. The hosts couldn't be friendlier and ready to assist if there is something you need. They certainly helped us out with getting a truck tire repaired. I can't wait until we get back there in September 2017.

These are wonderful people and a great Resort. They will bend over backwards to help make your stay a lovely experience. If I didn't already have three Shelties, I think about adopting them into my family

Nice cabin, nicely furnished but with NO view at all, worst wifi connection of anywhere I have stayed in a long time. Poor water pressure, barely able to rinse off in shower There were more rules for staying here when I checked in than there were in boot camp, and you had to listen to them all! Very poor parking at cabin site.I wish I had taken a picture of the rule sheet for using the hot tub, basically the only thing you could put in the hot tub was water and you.

The circular staircase to the loft master bedroom was not for older folks like us, my kids got the master bedroom!

We stayed 10 nights. Very pleasant and peaceful. Owners are very accommodating and friendly. Campgrounds and facilities are very clean. Owner greeted us upon arrival and guided us to campsite and was very helpful in parking the trailer for the perfect site location. Cable worked perfectly although the WiFi was limited for use with devices (no streaming like Netflix). We also had difficulty with our cellular reception (AT&T) but owners allowed us to use their phone. We were visited several times by the owners to see if we had everything we needed. During our visit several came and left with a verity of guests old and young with children. It seems that most campgrounds are located next to the main road so traffic is present but not annoying. There is lots to see and do around the area. I recommend Sunburst Adventures because it had the most activities to do (Zip Lines, Horseback, Canoeing, and ATV'ing) all in the same location on a 112 acre site only 13 minutes drive away. We enjoyed it a lot.
