The campground is on a bad location, not much to do there but to sleep. It feels like a trailer park, a little trashy and undermanned. Bathrooms need big upgrade, the clubhouse is just a dead room with an old TV. The people at front are clueless and very apathetic with customers. They don’t even know how to recommend places to go in the area. We planned to stay 4 days, we left the second day and lost our money (they do not refund) we found Unicoi State Park Campground and it’s awesome!

I️ needed help with onsite propane. Requested help. Manager said propane confuses her and she doesn’t understand it.
I’ve been patient and waited for four days until the mysterious people who work there who will fill the tanks are there, because they are always off site doing stuff.

It’s unfortunate.

I️ said if you don’t offer the service it’s a ok, but wasting my time chasing a phantom is unprofessional.

Don’t use this place. This has been my experience here, and no doubt it will likely be yours.

There are better place up the road at Anna Ruby Falls up the road.

They are clean, and a better experience.

The Manager there is what did it for me.
Lie to people, and you lose your customers.

I️ will tell others of my negative experience with you to help them use your competitors service which is 5 minutes further up the road, but better in my opinion.

Nice area but so many golf carts run around (security) you can't think straight. They drive by slowly staring to find something wrong. For this reason we did not enjoy peace and quiet. I will never stay there again.

First time camping with my family. The place is clean with fast access to Helen or Cleveland Ga. Some of the camp sites are tight but I did not feel uncomfortable near the other campers. They have scheduled activities if you want something to do. We really enjoyed it and will be going back hopefully soon.

This is our 4th year coming here for Oktoberfest but the first one for my family having our own camper. The place is pristine in the way they run their facility to the staff and owner that care more about their customers happiness and the quality of every guests stay that i am almost at a loss for words. We had nothing but problems with our camper and they helped me so over and above what i could have ever asked for. It makes me feel good that there are a few people like that still around. If you want a great camping trip to helen this is the ONLY place to go..

Lady at front desk was RUDE. Drove over an hour to check this place out and received no help, except : "sorry the manager just went to go get our lunch". Its 350pm. I understand if you have had a rough day, but you don't have to be rude..

Beautiful scenery, playground for children, safe cozy. So many activities everyone here makes you feel right at home. Very family oriented.

My family and I went to see the solar eclipse. We chose this camp ground because of the amenities. Mainly the pool. However when we went to go use the pool it was closed. I went to front office to ask when it will be open at 10 am since they had posted a sign saying they where closing from 12:30 - 3pm for the eclipse. The manager got very rude with me saying the pool was low on water from all the use the previous day. And that I should be more creative to keep my 3 kids, who had been up at 6 am wanting to swim, entertained. The manager never provided a real answer to when the pool would be open, and told me to go take it up with the owner but never pointed him out. Later when the pool was still be cleaned you could see this manager with a male cleaning the pool goofing off and taking her sweet time to finish cleaning while a crowd of people with kids where standing in 100 degree weather. My thought was if the pool was low the night before why wasn't it filled then? Also by the time we got to use the pool it was so cold and dirty from the well water my kids wanted no part. If u want a good camp site use them but don't expect good service.

Beautiful place well kept super nice staff. Bath house was well kept and clean. Not lacking toilet tissue in any stalls and showers are very nice with each one having a sitting area separate from wash area to keep clothes dry. Staff was on hand (at 9pm) to help locate a grocery store. I will gladly come back again!

Call early for reservations!! Even though we showed up late in the afternoon and they were full, the staff found a "lawn" spot with no fire ring. 10 minutes later they came by and told us there was a cancellation and we could have it!! We stayed for two nights. They had activities for guests both nights and roving security on golf carts 24/7. Showers were clean and modern. Mt. Yonah is a great hike that's right behind them. Overall , a great experience!!

It was nice picking your site via golf cart first. Everyone was nice and the place is clean. We enjoyed ice cream, crafts, and bingo at the clubhouse. We will be back. The only things I would like to see change is the additional per person fee of $3.00 for more the 4 people per site, per night. We had to pay a charge of an additional $6 per night that we stayed, because we have 4 children. A lot of places include 6 per site with each nights stay price.
Also, internet throughout the entire place would be GREAT, rather than just at the office and clubhouse.

I had to give them 3 stars because we were placed at site 73 which was right next to two garbage dumpsters. The smell was unpleasant and along with people dumping their trash every couple of minutes to hear bottles crashing, I would have rated this campground 5. If I was managing this campground, I would discount anyone who did not have the option to choose their site and was placed at site 73 with a half off discount or one free night. I paid extra for this site because it was the holiday. I feel like they could have just charged us the regular going rate. Overall, the staff was very friendly and they provided lots of activities. My children really had a great time. The staff was very helpful but Junior was suppose to help us and told us he would be back later but never showed up. So, we asked him later that day and he said he would help us tomorrow but he never showed up.ugh!
