Haven't been here in over 5 years and it was better than ever! Fresh, fast, and inexpensive. We will be stopping again on our way back home.
Want fresh fish? Go here. Fun atmosphere. Service is great.
Food was just okay - I've had better seafood at Red Lobster. Very pricey. Our waitress was not very friendly felt like we were a bother to her. We won't be going back!
This is one of my all time favorites that I've visited in my travels, Dyan was so helpful and friendly. The kindest person in all of Florida (in my experience) and another younger female server who's name I didn't catch. I made two visits to this location while passing through the Keys. The food was incredible and I loved the atmosphere and overall feel of the place. I'm pretty sure everyone who walked by greeted me at some point. I hope to return.
Went today to Conch Cafe in Marathon with my daughter and baby grandson, was seved by an older woman with white hair and no personality. We ordered a fish sandwich and a turkey BLT. 3 other tables came in after we placed our order a table of 5 than a table of 2 guys and than an older woman with a child. The table of 2 got their fried fish sandwich, the lady with her child got her breakfast. Mine you we had already been sitting at the table for more than 40 minutes. I asked her if our food had been overlooked she responded very nasty "some foods take longer than others!"
Really? We got up and left as she laughed at us leaving.
With all that has happened in the keys and she acts this way towards the customers that walk through those doors. I called back today after we left she answered because I knew her voice and asked to speak to the owner. She said he wasn't there, so I asked for his name and she said Joe.
So Joe, I really would like to come back and try again but don't think so anytime soon.
Food and atmosphere were everything you would want from being in the keys. Regardless of hurricane Irmas damages it was great.. Definitely returning.
Today I was there when on the way back from Key West to Miami. We ordered a keisadilla with chicken and fajitas. The check was $27. We are very satisfied with the kitchen and service! Ate enough to eat. Thank you!
Conch bennie for breakfast was AWESOME!! Loved the vibe of this place, and the darling servers. Confession had a slice of the homemade key lime as well. Not overly tangy, nice and creamy. Quite good. Great stop for a cafe!
Stopped by from signageordered Fish of the Day which was Dolphin and a cracked conch sandwich. Very good. Sides of Lemonade and Sweet Tea topped it all off.overall service was goodwaitress older tan ladychecked on us oftenvery oftenwe'll stop back in next time!
Been here a couple of times now. Service is good as well as the food. Very laid back atmosphere. Great place to have a relaxing meal in the evening.
Food and services were great.
Great food value large portions cooked perfectly.
Our service was really poor. The other waitresses there seemed great and personable but the young lady we had was rather salty to us. The food was good but the eggs were bland. Really would have been much happier with a friendly waitress.
The food wasn't cheap and nothing impressed me on the seafood platter. The scallops, while flavorless friee, were cooked properly - very rare. The best part of my meal was the onion rings. :(
Love this laid back diner. Great Conch Fingers, fish sandwiches, ice cold tea, and Key Lime Pie!! MM50, we always stop!! You will be given an iced tea to go on your way out too!!! Wish I was there now!!
