Great good and great prices. We received a fantastic waitress.. oysters were good. Everything was great. Clean facility.

I was told to go here by a local and i was very pleased with the quality of the food i ordered. I had the snow crab plate at market value. At $25 I thought i would have had more than two clusters. It tasted wonderful and the two potatoes that were included were cooked perfectly. I also had the raw oyster deal prior to 6pm, $5. Cant go wrong with oysters. My two nephews beg to differ and couldn't wait to swallow the mess they had gotten their young selves into. lol. I'd say its kid friendly until the sun goes down.

I was told about this place and that it was a happening place to be about 10 years ago. I heard the food was excellent and the nightlife was great and laid-back. When we got there I was a little taken aback as there were only two families eating on a pretty fairly busy week in June. However as soon as we were greeted by our wonderful waitress Melissa who had just started about two weeks prior, I already began to feel a little more at ease. The ambience was unassuming not pretentious at all SEC pictures everywhere pretty much a local dive. We started off with a dozen raw oysters which were absolutely perfect fresh and not too big. the cocktail sauce already made was great which I like to make my own and I was able to choose. Then one of us ordered a fried plate with fresh grouper shrimp oysters hush puppies and I ordered the boiled shrimp special with potatoes corn. We opted for another dozen oysters because the first were so delicious. When our food came out we were completely satisfied. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and fresh as well as the fried shrimp grouper and oysters were hand battered and I Oh so tasty. I say if this place was on the beach overlooking the ocean they could charge double price and have a line out the door. I've been to a lot of the popular places and was very dissatisfied and with the food and the price not not the case with busters. If you want an unassuming and pretentious laid-back vibe great fresh seafood and to NOT have to wait in line for an hour and a half to get a table for so so food, go to Busters. Fresh seafood lots of options friendly staff no wait time this place has it going on!!!

Not much ambiance, but great food and reasonable prices. It's been many years since eating at Buster's. We typically end up at the popular seafood places on the beach or harbor, but Buster's was convenient this Friday evening, so we at there. The food was excellent - their seafood rivals any of the beach-side restaurants and was less expensive. Since most of the beach-side restaurants are open air, Buster's was a nice change being indoors with A/C.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was delicious. I had the fried seafood platter and it was delicious. I really like their battered/seasoned french fries. Make sure you try the tuna dip appetizer - it's really good.
The dining area itself is nothing special - a bit tired looking with inexpensive tables and chairs. There are TVs on the walls with a few large projection screens. The noise level was not too bad even with several large parties nearby. There was live music in the bar area that was nice to hear at a distance. Although we didn't need it, they can easily accommodate very large parties.response / report this review
