Really impressed on how well baked and flavored my pita bakes are! My wife LOVES her chicken marsala. The restaurant itself is neat and clean. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop.
Pleasant atmosphere, good service, tasty food. I will certainly be going by to try other items. Have been back a few times and upping to 4 stars. This place gets better and better each time. Plenty of parking and seating. Delicious food and lots of options.
Went to CousCous for the first time today for lunch while we were in the area just to try something different. We loved it! Both my wife and I really enjoyed it. We ended up taking part of it home to have for dinner because they are large portions. Would definitely come back soon. Great food! Great service!
My wife and I love coming here. Great atmosphere and staff is genuine and friendly. But mostly .we love the food. Great blend of flavors and reasonably priced.
Service was excellent! Owner was very personable and friendly. He was very helpful in explaining the food choices. And the food was delicious! Highly recommend
Service was really good as were the portions. Lots of real chicken. The food itself was fine. Just fine.
I walked in and my order was ready right away. The food tasted great! They have a fresh and unique menu. Will definitely return and will recommend it.
Tasty food - customer service is good, too. In fact, I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for this minor annoyance based upon Principle:
I ordered food from CousCous yesterday for the first time. It was delicious and healthy - just like the reviews say. I did takeout and took a menu home - it is then that I realized I was overcharged for the Vegetable Ratatouille. On the website, and on their printed menu, it is $8.50 for this dish. However, I was charged $11.50 for the Chicken Ratatouilleminus the chicken. A simple mistake, right? I called and requested the charge be adjusted, and it was - after a few minutes of debate. However, the person on the phone was unaware that they had a veggie version which is less than the chicken version. He tried explaining to me that they "don't have a veggie version." which is right on the menu next to him.
Not really a big deal I can let that go - the guy was very friendly, even if misguided.
Then I ordered the same thing today: the woman on the phone told me it would be $10 for the "Chicken Ratatouille, minus the chicken." I explained that I'd like the "Vegetable Ratatouille, not the chicken." She, of course, seemed to have no idea there was a veggie version. I explained to her that it says "Vegetable Ratatouille right on the menu I got yesterday - from your location - right under the Quinoa & Teriyaki Veggies that you are pointing out to me now." We spent a few moments tensely conversing about the discrepancy until she finally looked at the menu in front of her (upon my stern request). I was about to say "never mind" when she offered "I'll give it to you for the $8.50."
Now, folks, I don't care about $1 or $3 - like, at all. This is a matter of principle, and it is annoying to me that I should have to (as a brand new customer!) explain a company's menu to their employees. Moreover, that I should have to give a TUTORIAL on how to find these items on their own menu! And even more that I should have to be annoyed with this conversation each time I order.
If the Vegetable Ratatouille is $10, then have it be $10 everywhere. If it doesn't exist, then remove it from the menu. If it's just "whoever rings it up" that changes the price (like what the girl at the checkout counter said when I picked up my food today), then obviously the employees need more training.
Love this place! And if you don't see what you like on the menu, tell Nick what you want and he will whip it up FRESH before your very eyes! Such the perfect alternative to corporate dining if you're like me and enjoy supporting local family owned restaurants!
It is my first time at this restaurant. I asked for the meal the host orders. I enjoyed the Gourmet Style Pits with Shrimp. .My dish was delivered within 5 minutes. It was hot, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this resaurant. It's clean, reasonable and the pita exceptional. I will be returning often.
Awesome food!! Highly recommended. Around $10-15 per plate, a little pricey. But you get amazing flavors in these dishes. In the photo: (red dish) chicken ratatouille, (green dish) pesto chicken. They are both from the gluten free menu.
Great value and the best gyro / pita you have ever had. The couscous with pesto and artichokes is great too. Friendly staff, ambiance is casual, but you come here for the food.
Hands down one of our favorite places!!
Nothing quite like it in salt lake city.
The menu is unique and so flavorful.
Never had a meal that isn't fantastic and satisfying.
Plus, the staff is awesome.
The lamb pita is fantastic, and I really enjoy the Couscous chicken carbonara as well. Couscous combines a fine dining taste with fast food speeds, making it a perfect option for lunch meetings in the Murray area. The portions and prices are fair, and I haven't tried anything that I didn't like yet. A lot of it isn't the standard Mediterranean cuisine that comes to mind, but it is all tasty. The namesake couscous is of course one of the main selling points. I'd say that it is one of the more unique restaurants in the area.
I enjoy the casual feel of the restaurant and the atmosphere and decor. Plus, it's always crowded during lunch so you know it's good!
This place is absolutely fantastic!! It's wonderful all the way around this is a diamond in the rough type of place it's just that unique and fantastic. I can't believe how incredible all the flavors are in everything it's truly exquisite! You must give this place a try the service was wonderful workers are happy and the chef is one of the most talented I've come across in my life! You can tell everything was designed perfectly and well thought out. Thank you for the wonderful experience and delightful flavors!!! I'm astounded!
