Check in and front desk were fast and friendly. Room was nice.
Major issue was breakfast or lack thereof. No complimentary breakfast. Buffet was $17 and was worse than the complimentary breakfast at an economy hotel. Dried out eggs, grits with nothing to compliment, sausage, bacon, potatoes, bread, and fruit. No made to order, no waffle maker. Next time, we'll go to Waffle House.response / report this review -

All is what you’d expect from a Courtyard except the paper thin walls and floors. It is almost 2018 - no need for standard definition channels. Time for Ted! Other than that, great.

Upon checking in, we were greated with friendly staff. Our directions to our room and where to park were helpful. Our room was clean and a comfortable temperature. The pool looked nice but we didn't swim in it. I would go back to this location if the occasion arises.

The room was very clean when we arrived. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay. We had one minor problem while we were there (we found tiny ants on the nightstand), but it was taken care of within moments of me reporting it to the staff. The gentleman who came in to check out the issue was very kind and told us that if we had any other problems just to ask for him by name and he'd be there right away. When we checked out the staff asked if we'd had the little ants return and we had not. It had been a fluke and most likely a liquid spill behind the nightstand from another guest that I would never have expected anyone to catch unless it had just happened. The beds were more comfortable than most hotels and as a back pain sufferer I really appreciate that. A very nice touch was the make-up removing cloth in the bathroom. We were there for a wedding and I had forgotten my make-up remover so they saved me! The parking lot was very well lit and I had no issue leaving my car our there.

Front Desk attendant was courteous and friendly when checking in. The room was very nice and cozy. It was nice having a Starbucks on premise and not have to make another stop for coffee while on the road. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Came here after evacuating hurricane Irma, so my experience may be unusual. Location is decent, decent food nearby, but big stores are 20-30 minutes away. The room was nice; newer furnishings and clean. The pull out bed was awful uncomfortable and had large brown strains the length of your body in the center. Staff was extremely understanding and helpful. One thing that impressed me; since we were expecting a possible power outage, there were several trucks in the parking lot ready to restore the power immediately. I would definitely recommend staying here, just check out mattress and don't get a pull out bed!!!

Very nice staff. We walked in at 9:45 pm and the kitchen closes at 10. They cooked us food and served drinks with a smile. Room was comfortable and nice. Recommend.

Pretty good, but no microwave in the room, and the little College size fridge does not have a freezer. It makes it hard to be a road warrior here. However, there are lots of restaurants and stuff like that nearby. The staff here is really nice. And the rooms are about right for a three-star hotel.

They gave me 3 different prices. First price was negotiated with an agent over the phone which I was happy about. When I got there they charged me an extra 50 for extras (for candy or drinks or breakfast I might buy) that I was unknown about. I then asked why they did it and said it was normal. I was confused. No other marriot ever did this. Anyway. The front desk then told me my total was lower than the original agreement. I confirmed this time and time again. Ok I was a little happier.
In he morning they charged me he original price. Complained. Asked them to make up their mind. Couldn't help me what so ever.
Trash cans were to small and had no trash bags in them at all.response / report this review -

The Courtyard by Marriott in Macon is located just a short ride from many different food and entertainment options. Their rooms are very clean and their service is very good.

Good staff but place needs a little help. The outside balcony needed a good dusting and elevator looked like it had seen better days. Stayed at the other Marriott previously and was much better in every respect
