Visited friends staying at the hotel. It looked clean and nicely decorated. Friends were happy with their stay and said the price was great.
The room was clean but hospitality was lacking. The pool and "hot tub" were ICE COLD. When we asked staff to take a peek at the temp, they refused. Breakfast is advertised until 10 am. Witnessed staff turn a family away at 9:25 because "breakfast was closed" they proceeded to throw remaining breakfast items away in front of them.. House keeping started banging on the door at 7am. Our rate increased 35$ from our original booking rate.
Have stayed here several times. This weekend (thanksgiving) was probably the least satisfied we have been. Breakfast food was in short supply, and rooms weren't as clean. Biggest issue was a BEDBUG we found on morning we checked out. When I showed to clerk at desk, she just shrugged her shoulders. Really?
Excellent experience - Staff is very helpful and quick to respond. Josh at the front desk was very professional and friendly during our stay. The complimentary breakfast provided several more options than expected. Coffee is available all day, which is appreciated when returning late.
The linens and room were very clean, but the room location was very unfortunate. We had a room separated from the rest of the 2nd floor. It was right up the open air stairs and as such had very little privacy. Everytime the stairs were used, it felt very confusing and interruptive. My girlfriend and I felt a little warched/listened to. The service seemed fine though.
The hotel is nothing fancy, but serves it's purpose. The beds were clean and comfortable. The location is a short drive to several restaurants and shopping. The rates were reasonable.
It was ok but nothing to write home about. The good: super friendly staff and the entire facility was clean. Check in/out was a breeze and the room was good and quiet. The bad: They seem to be behind on maintenance. Water pressure was really low, the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on, and the mattress felt like it was either old or had been used as a trampoline. All told, its a decent place to lay your head overnight, but I will probably look elsewhere in the future.
It was decent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was mostly clean except some dust and dirt in the carpet. The pillows are way too small. Would probably stay again since it was cheaper.
It was clean. Tub was dripping & hot tub was broken. We chose this hotel because they had breakfast, however when we left at 6:45 AM the breakfast room wasn't open yet. I won't choose this hotel when I am in Bloomington again. Disappointing.
It's a nice hotel and it has a pool and hot tub. Beds arnt that comfy sadly.
Our room was reasonably sized. Pluses: Check-in was smooth. The charges were promptly posted on my Account. Hotel was easy to find. Coffee and apples in lobby. Cookies at certain times also? Problems: Lumpy mattress. Room 234 Soiled carpet. Wear shoes in the room. Room 234 Pricacy Blinds in disrepair. Room 234. Satellite TV kept going in and out of service. Throughout Hotel Jacuzzi/Hot tub not working. Side note, the breakfast was decent and fresh. The staff definitely is concerned with the tile floor trim in the breakfast room, (do not accidentally walk on it if it had been mopped). Myself and other guests we scolded and hrumpfed for not noticing the recently mopped 18" tile accent in front of the food bar. No signage was place reflecting a wet floor. Dirty looks and snide comments, were what the staff choose to go with.
Clean and safe. Barebones room. It was a pet friendly. So that was nice.
The hotel was nice but the bathrooms could have used a little attention. To be fair I DID try to use the men's room so.. Its almost to be expected
