Amazing place! Definitely recommend if you have medium to large dogs. Brought Cooper and Max and everything from checkin to checkout was superb! Suite 503 was amazing and beautifully designed! Price was fair and breakfast had a bunch of selections. Overall 5.5/5.

We enjoyed the lovely lake views from our rooms and daily continental breakfasts in the common room. A short, picturesque woodland walk is a shortcut to "downtown" and can be preferable to taking a vehicle if you're not going any further. Bicycles are included with your stay, and another nice way to see the area. We visited just before Memorial Day weekend, so the kayaks (also complimentary) weren't available 'till our last day, but it was a lovely day for a quick trip on the lake under the watchful eyes of our host, and the Harbor Master. (There was some concern over the cold water temperatures and my relative lack of experience.)
There are dog friendly rooms as well as suites. The rooms all have refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, hairdryers, and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The amenities and service were everything I could have wanted.response / report this review -

This is our 2nd year here in October.(My Hubby BDAY) So this is a nice 3days getaway for us both. He does his things (activities) & I do what makes me happy. Like relaxing taking in the sites here at the CH RESORT. shopping & enjoying the dining at nite experiences with my other hslf. Its worth the time & take the trip out hete.

Beautiful location. There was a little porch with chairs to relax on and gaze out at the bay. The room was very clean and quiet.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! This place was absolutely beautiful. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights 3 days for her birthday and it was perfect! The FREE breakfast was very good, they have onsite kayaks that we used, a hiking trail, and a dock to watch the sunset. The sunsets here were amazing. Our room faced the water and I often thought for a sec I was in Mexico looking into the ocean instead of lake Michigan. This place is great and we are coming back WITH friends and family.

A nice quiet place with great scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. You can book an in room jacuzzi if you wish. Very nice and clean.

Hospitality is like no other. Rooms are clean. Lake view is superb and cannot ask for anything better to wake up to with a gorgeous sunrise. European breakfast is delicious. Come see for yourself.
