We had a wonderful stay. The owners, Mike and Jamie very nice and personable. Room was nice and clean, beds slept great. Cookies in our room on arrival was a very nice touch. Breakfast each morning was also very good. We would recommend this place and we will return.

Very satified with all aspects of this lodge. Friendly staff, GREAT homemade breakfast. Comfortable rooms, complete with microwave and fridge. Right downtown, yet quiet. We will ve returning here for sure!

We decided to take our first trip to Door County and booked a weekend at Village Green Lodge. The location is perfect. You can walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and the beach and a quick drive to surrounding towns. The room was quaint. Had everything we needed, mini fridge, microwave, comfortable bed, etc. Although the bathroom had older finishes, it was the cleanest bathroom I have ever encountered away from home. The best part about Village Green was the hospitality. The breakfasts were home cooked and fantastic. The staff was outstanding. Mike and Jamie made us feel like we were part of the family. Mike gave us recommendations on places to kayak (thank you)! They make an effort to take care of and get to know their guests and interests. Their personal touch made the stay much more enjoyable. Wonderful place to stay!

Sad to leave today!! Such a perfect place, for relaxing, beautiful scenery, welcoming place! Slept better on their beds, than I have in a long time! The couple who own the Lodge, we're so helpful, and friendly! Would suggest this place to anyone who asks where to stay! Thank you guys!

The Proprietors of the Village Green Lodge are very knowledgeable on opportunities for activities in the area. It is a short walk from the water front, the Fish Boil, and an ice cream parlor. They have a wonderful breakfast, a pool, and free wifi.
