Nice comfortable stay! Pool and hot tub were clean as were the rooms. Continental breakfast was simple, but nice touch. Great location between everything in Door County!

Always a dependable place. Book ahead, not always easy to get in. Clean, spacious rooms. AND, home made cookies in the afternoon.

The only thing this hotel has going for itself is the location. If you wanted to know exactly what the hotel was like 30 years ago, just see it today. It clearly seems as though the location has kept this place alive. Literally nothing about this hotel has been updated in decades. I couldn't find one evidence of any current technology. You actually get brass keys to your room. The carpets were so old and matted down I was afraid to go bare foot. The bathroom was almost comical. Most gas station bathrooms are more inviting. The cream colored shower had the scallop shelves and seat, I think, or step, not sure. It even was equipped with a fancy shampoo dispenser way down by the faucet strange. I noticed that they also do not lock the exterior doors at night, or ever. This means anyone from the public could show up at your door. What's more is that I could find any security cameras anywhere.

If your looking for a vintage hotel with central location, then this is your place.

Joined my in-laws for a wonderful evening. I found the amenities quite nice at the hotel including their pool, jacuzzi and contential breakfast. Watch out for the fridge in the breakfast area however It vacuum seals and you will look like a fool trying to open it after it shuts. (Sign is posted but who reads now a days?)

Nice rooms, fresh made chocolate chip cookies and a beautiful view. Couldn't be happier here.

A nice, cozy place to settle down for the night. Wonderful restaraunts located nearby, but more upscale than others. The rooms are good, but our door was hard to open and one light would shut on and off constantly.

We've been here multiple times to celebrate anniversaries and it has been awesome each time! We always get one of the suites which are my favorite rooms and have awesome views of the lake. It is close to shopping (Fish Creek), Wilsons Ice Cream Parlor (always important), and private beach/dock. The indoor pool/hot tub is great and the staff is always so friendly. I can't recommend this place enough! (Side note - there is a continental breakfast but it's pretty basic/average in case that's important to you).
