Food and service have always been top notch, prices have gotten to expensive.
Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Great food, specially steaks. I totally recommend Sunday’s Bruch, offers variety of top quality food. Great service as well.
The service was amazing. Our server was attentive and always had our drinks full. He never bothered us with our mouths full and was just totally on point. However the "Raw Bar" was a complete and utter let down. The oysters were disgusting and had clearly been frozen, the crab legs were browning and old and the mussels were also pre-frozen and tasted like ice. The cooked food was good, including the meat but considering Council Oak has won awards for their food I thought it would be so much better.
Used to be my favorite place to eat but food quality has slipped. Service is extraordinary but meat quality and preparation is not consistent. Sides are salty and the last two visits were over or undercooked. Used to take guests to showcase the cuisine, however I'm tired of being embarrassed by the lack of consistency. Waiter said they had a new chef Hire the old one back and I'll frequent your establishment again.
We enjoyed every moment! From the time sat to leaving. The service and food was fantastic!
Always a pleasurable experience . The wagyu ribeye is highly recommended.
The Best! Food was delicious; cooked and presented perfectly!!
The staff were friendly, professional, and very attentive.
Wether for business, family or romantic intention's This is the place to do it at!!
It's expensive. But take my word for it: YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Love the escargot and oysters Rockefeller! It is pricey, but worth it. Music on Friday and Saturday night is great, too!
Counicl Oak has never disappointed. The ambiance, service, and quality cuts of meet make Council Oak one of the best steakhouses in the area.
Service was great but could not make up for the poor quality of the meal. Creamed spinach was like soup. Lobster Mac n cheese was dry and the lobster was imitation not real. Potatoes au gratin lacked flavor. French onion soup did not have enough cheese and was not much of a shell. While the bone in ribeye was cooked to the correct temp it was tough and had a well-done texture. Dinner for two with one adult beverage each cost $175 Not a fan.
