Just a fun place to try your luck. They have good eats at Luckys and their buffet is also good though it starts at 4. Check it If you enjoy the one armed bandits though they don't call them that anymore. 😎

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Free soft drinks. Police officers on premises. No one was able to win in our party.

You don't win very often. Spent $160 and played several different slots and none of them won more then $1 to $3 at tops. 1 bonus in the 25 minutes I was at the casino. Wasn't expecting to win a lot, but would be nice to have a little more fun on your 1st experience.

Oh my god all the outdated slot machines can go. The lightning machine that 9 out of 10 people who enters the casino doors want to play they can't because it is only one and each patron wants to stay on it until they get married and go go home. Need a better variety of slot machines. Very upset constantly losing and never a little win.

They keep on tightening the slot machine more and more.
A few years ago you would win jackpots and your money would last longer.
Now i have not won a jackpot in over two years and my money last a lot less time.
One thing though the atmosphere is nice.

We enjoy Calder Casino when we decide to "try our luck". They seem to keep getting new games so there's always a variety and we love the buy-one-get-one buffet with the Calder Club coupons. It is always lots of fun to go and (don't tell anyone -- wouldn't want to jinx it) we normally hit a nice jackpot or two.

The point system changes as you try to collect them. It starts out with a countdown of 200 or 300. Each point is one penny. Twenty cents equals twenty on the countdown. So that equals two dollars per point needed for the free play. Ten to twenty points for a five dollar free play.
That means you will have to spend twenty to forty dollars to get a five dollar free play. That's if the countdown doesn't change on you, which it WILL. Try 500 on the countdown, BEFORE you reach the final amount you need to get your free play. Remember, one penny per countdown point, that means FIVE dollars times ten points equals fifty dollars, for a five dollar free play?
So, to say that Calder casino is fun? Yes, if you don't mind limited games and someone changing the rules of the game a as you play it.
Sorry, after playing at many different casinos, I don't think I can recommend this casino. Try the hard Rock or Mardi gras casinos.response / report this review -

Love coming here with friends. Environment is nice, free play and free hot chocolate is cool and just being able to chill at the bar, listen to the band play some of my favorites is even much better.

Calder Casino has a good Buffet Restaurant even though i haven't good luck playing in the Machine. Good music group at saturday night and therefore is a Good place to visit.
