Total chaos at immigration / customs. No signage whatsoever. Lines should be separated by nationality + passport type, but aren't. Instead they shuffle everyone into the same queue and then try to rearrange as they go along, which works as well as you might expect. Global Entry machines all offline. Half the electronic passport scanners are dead as well. I used one of the working ones, but instead of continuing out the exit, was routed back through the entry into another line, which later fed back through the passport scanners a second time, and then was routed to yet another line. No apparent order to anything. Great first impression

I had a connecting flight from another airport (to another airport, go figure), but in order to make the flight I had to take a tram that required me (and everyone in similar circumstances) to LEAVE SECURITY to catch the tram. I then had to go BACK THROUGH SECURITY meaning the drinks I got at the last airport had to be chugged or thrown away. The signs getting me to the terminals and tram were unclear or outright conflicted with the next sign one would see. The airport was clean, but the staff seemed SO done. I can't blame them. It is worth a few hundred extra dollars to avoid this airport. One might be better off walking or hitch hiking.

After a while all airports start looking the same, ha. This airport was clean, nice, seemed well kept, had all the things you expect in an airport; plenty of eateries, and stores to visit. TSA lines moved at a decent pace, but your mileage may vary depending on what time and what flights are out-going. The staff and TSA agents were all nice and helpful. Like most airports, you have long walks to get to your flight or to your baggage pick up. Parking was as expected, valet is always best to use if you don't mind spending the money.

This airport may be somewhat small compared to the neighboring Miami International Airport, but it is always a very nice airport to travel through whenever I head to south Florida. They offer free WiFi and have some very good food, such as Shula Burger. It’s convenient having food, drinks, and restrooms right near the gate. I would definitely recommend this airport to anyone heading to south Florida!

The airport is still expanding - so there’s a chance that you may encounter closed paths and construction. Each terminal is very different from the other. Terminal 1 is large and has a plethora of restaurants past security, not to mention art displays (paintings, sculptures, etc). Terminal 2, holding Delta & others, has various restaurants past security yet it’s not as “hip” as Terminal 1. It’s also smaller. The only “food” area you’ll find outside is a Starbucks on the 1st floor. Terminal 3 holds Jet Blue, American, and a few others. It’s still going through renovations and has no restaurants before security - everything is found past it, including Chili’s. Terminal 4 holds Spirit and a few small carriers, has a newly renovated area, and has restaurants before and after security. It’s your best bet to grab a bite if you’re waiting for someone. It also receives all international flights. Parking is great and centered, very easy and quick to get to terminals - $3 per hour ($36 max) on short term parking and $15 per day on long term parking. There’s always space. Airport staff is polite and all areas are usually very clean. TSA is usually fast compared to MIA. Definitely recommend leaving and arriving here.

Hadn't been through this airport for several years and now it's all grown up. The parking garage is centered so all of the terminals are easy to get to. Security was a breeze. Plenty of food ops to pick from and priced right.

This airport is by far one of the nicest and cleanest airport in downtown area the stuff a very polite they are very knowledgeable so if you ask a question they will guide you and instruct you to the right place. I have flown from this airport multiple times and my luggage where always on time and plane was always departing on time. The convenient store inside the is not bad either you can grab a quick bite if you’re waiting, and the food,drinks are very decent price and taste pretty good for the airport very secure so you don’t have to worry about any kind of hassle of problems overall a great experience flying from this airport I high recommend.

No frills, just a good rental car at an affordable price. Keep in mind if you have a second driver, they charge a fee of $13 per day. According to the representative behind the counter, all rental car companies have this charge. Fortunately, I made my reservation through AAA where I was exempt from that policy.

This place isn't bad its actually better than some. Car rental took to long to get, a lot of paperwork. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Very nice place. Facilities are decent. Places to eat and buy other things need a little work and prices for most things here are outrageous. And because they make you dump out or throw away most the items they sell here gives you no choice but to buy their overpriced things. Also our pilot hit his max time aloud to fly while we sat on the runway waiting to take off so of course we had to park our plane and unload to wait for another pilot. They delayed our flight 3 hours

The terminal we flew in to looked like it had been recently updated and was very clean and modern. There was one large restaurant which looked brand new but otherwise it could have definitely use a few more food spots. On our return flight the Spirit line was outrageous and one of the TSA employees we interacted with was extremely rude. It's much nicer overall than what I remember so that's something.

Traveling from Washington D.C. where the standard on transprotation is practical and high.

1.This airport was very impractical and inefficient. If you are traveling within South Florida and need to rent a car, expect to pay high car renting fees.

2. The car rental offices are far and you have to take a shuttle and a bus to get there. Prepare to work and wait.

3. Transporting people from place to place is exhausting!

Overall, I am glad I arrived safely to Ft. Laud, however it can be a journey trying to get situated. (Hart like Jackson and LAX still the best airports I've flown into.

Totally cramped, disorganized airport. Among the worst I've flown into internationally. At one point only one bathroom available in the entire terminal and women had to wait to use half of the men's room. Took over an hour. Coffee shop wait took 35 minutes for an ice coffee. On a Thursday early afternoon. This place needs some serious work.

This is a mediocre airport at best. Yes food portions at some restaurants are good but others are not so choose wisely. The bathroom attendant near the G10 gate was in there on the phone while multiple stalls were missing toilet paper. She was unbothered. While traveling here on Spirit we were delayed on arriving because there was no ground crew available. Then our departure was delayed four hours. I have been through this airport several times and it always seems to have issues. They can definitely do better. Maybe this is all a ploy to get us to fly in to Miami instead.

The new parking system installed is great but still ridiculously low amount of spaces in terminal 1. Give yourself a 45 minute Cushion when traveling from terminal one airlines. Security quite slow and compacted. New restaurants are great but limited seating, bathrooms are really tight. Overall decent airport way better than what it was 20 years ago.
