Pizza formula seem to have improved over the years. It's expensive though. A large pizza is not that big and seems like it's only 12 inches for $17.99. Talk about expensive. Don't come here if you are trying to get more quantity out of your buck. If you don't mind paying a lot for small portions for high quality, then eat here. Otherwise, there are better pizza places in terms of quantity/price

Very good deep dish pizza. Bread they make daily from the pizza crust, and is very good. Kids menu includes free dessert. Has a great new bar area. Three serving staff have mostly been there for some time. They also have great sandwiches.

Connie's Pizza offers a $10.99 large one-topping pizza on Mondays only if you dine in they charge you and 18% guarantor tax that gets paid to the waiters or waitresses. If you go through the drive-thru you do not have to pay that 18% guarantor tax my argument with them this past Monday was the waitress did not deserve an 18% tip her attitude was real nasty her service was horrible and when I brought it to the manager's attention he blew me off like I was a piece of garbage I was told either I pay her 18% tip otherwise the pizza would not be able to be discounted at $10.99 the pizza would it cost me $23 and some change I didn't have a problem with that I would have rather paid full price for the pizza then tip the cashier when he brought me back the receipt to pay full price for the pizza he still kept the 18% guarantor tax for the waitress I normally tip anywhere from 10 to 20% depending on service the waitress would have been taken care of if her service was up to par but after going through this I would rather go and have a pizza at Beggars maybe go to Giordano's hell maybe even go get Little Caesars at least at those other places the staff treat you like you are a person and not like you owe them to be in their presence so I give Connie's five thumbs down and a kiss my ass

Been coming here for years when we have a family gathering. Thin crust and deep dish pizza's are the best. My wife loves the house salad with garlic parmesan dressing. The service is great. Never disappointed.

The food itself is enough to recommend Connie's to anyone but the service has made Connie's somewhere special. We visited twice and both times our waitresses were magnificent but Caesar, who we've gathered is likely a manger, is one of the most wonderful people we've ever met. We stopped by before going to the airport and he found a place for our luggage so it was out of the way. Mom had just run the Chicago Marathon and he went out of his way to find us a table as close to the entrance as possible so she had little walking to do. He was kind and listened, he went out of his way to make our experience just like home and all in all, is just a fantastic person who made our trip wonderful. We absolutely look forward to visiting Connie's again.

Ordered a couple of things for pick-up.
Unfortunately the chicken tenders were burnt and dry. Extremely small due to being burnt and dry. On the phone they let me know we could order the bbq, honey mustard, and ranch on the side. Great! Except we didn't get our ranch.
The pizza, the woman confirmed, could be stuffed crust. Well, we ordered this last time, and not only did they give away our order, but, the woman gave us a pizza that had no stuff crust. Okay. Well, I asked this time on the phone if it was a thing, and she said yes.
I asked for extra sauce, on the pizza .
I received a pizza, encrusted with bread on it, and sauce on the side. The pizza was literally bread, mushrooms and cheese with little to no sauce on it, as in, if I bit down, I could not taste sauce. Then, it was topped off with bread. Literally bread. I already paid and was willing to try it. It was so dry and salty. The sauce they gave us on the side-even though i asked for extra sauce on the pizza, wasn't even enough sauce to put on the pizza. It came in a dipping container slightly bigger than the honey mustard. I get orders are confusing, and can even understand a mishap. However, if the order was placed two times and had two different outcomes and a confirmation of it existing, that's such an irritating issue.
I don't even mind if someone needs to call and let me know I am wrong. I worked in the food industry. I get it. Believe me. I'm just disappointed in my two experiences ordering out and will not be giving it a third chance.
    Super bummed out and disappointed.

We had the stuffed & thin crust pizzas on our visit to Connie's. We were not disappointed. The pizza was just as good the next day eaten cold! Our waiter Alfonso was fabulous. He made us feel welcome & kept the jokes coming during our time at his restaurant.

Affordable for a tasty family dinner. Plenty of parking and spacious dining area. Service could use some improvement, our server did not listen to our requests but pretended like she did. Despite that it is a great place with great food! We will definitely go back and request a different server.

Great food. Fresh hot bread. Salads crisp and flavorful. Pizza have great quality ingredients. Great place for family at fair prices. CAUTION. Air conditioning And fans set high so eating in certain seats will be drafty.

One of Chicago's Best Pizza restaurants in the city. They have great food, a pleasant atmosphere and have good wine as well. Any tourist should go here for a meal.

Connie's is right up there with all the other fresh, homemade pizza spots in the city. Whether you get deep dish or regular you won't be disappointed. Plus, stop in and try their new craft beer (Jake’s 26th Street) goes well with their pies!

Customer Service : not so great pizza was decent, nothing special. I called to place an order for delivery and the girl on the phone had an attitude for no apparent reason and was talking to others in the background while I was speaking. I ordered a deep dish specialty pizza, and a cheese pizza was delivered. When I called back, the girl acted like I was in the wrong. Needless to say, if she would've been more attentive, instead of rushing me off the phone, this wouldn't have happened. First time experience w/ this restaurant.. bad first impression.
