The seafood was fresh. The drinks were flowing. The atmosphere was spot on. Ask for the bread!! BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY ask for MATTHEW to serve you!! He made our experience BOTH nights most pleasurable!!! 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒

Great cocktails and seafood. We tried shrimp, conch salad, conch chowder, smoked seafood dip and enjoyed every bite. Bartender was so efficient while bar was three deep. Ryan, our server, was equally busy but provided great service. Waterfront setting is charming. Will definitely return!

I thought this place was very good overall. I had the fresh fish special which included yummy conch chowder and homemade cornbread. My salad was crisp and tasty and my horseradish swordfish was very fresh and I loved the horseradish sauce. The service was efficient, attentive, and friendly. They were quite busy, but I didn't think the short wait between drinks, appetizer, and entree was at all unreasonable. Took my key lime pie to go and I thought that was quite good, too when I ate it later.

Whether it is Morgan, Adrian taking care of your table, or Chris behind the bar, the service is fantastic. A fun place to go with great food and excellent happy hour specials. Best trivia in town every Tuesday starting at 4.

This used to be our favorite place for seafood on the water. The history and atmosphere made the somewhat high prices worth it. The food has always been very good and we enjoyed going there so much we would drive 60 miles 1 way to get there. Unfortunately as others have noted they have changed the menu and raised the already high prices. To make things worse they no longer serve rolls or water with the meals and dinners that used to come with salad and 1 side no longer include the salad. My favorite meal was the Seafood Trinidad and I believe I used to pay about $22.00 for it. It is now $27.00 but the recipe has changed to cut cost. it used to be a pasta dish with shrimp, scallops, fish and a sort of jerk or Bahamian sauce that was delicious. This time the fish was all but non existent, there were very few and smaller shrimp and I believe there used to be tomatoes in the mix but not any more. The price went up $5.00 yet they changed the recipe and removed or cut back on anything they could to save a buck. $27.00 for a seafood pasta dish with very little seafood! Seems they have done anything and everything they could to cut cost while raising prices. Not sure who the genius was that decided to make the changes but the Twisted Tuna, Mulligans and other restaurants in the area should give him or her a medal. VERY DISAPPOINTING! We really loved the place but enough is enough. I have no problem paying good money for a good meal but this place is now ridiculously over priced. Sadly we won't be going back.

I love this place! When in florida you must go. Truly a tropical experience. The shrimp is awesome, but my favorite is the Conch Chowder!! The steel drum band is fun and it truly makes you feel like you are on a tropical island!

One year we got on a plane to go spend mew years eve on Conchy Joe's. Their steaks are the best kept secret in the region. Casual. Fun. Great views. Deck over water. Live entertainment. Memorable.

I found Conchy Joe's in 2016 while visiting family and I absolutely fell in love with the decor, and the food and service were outstanding. I went back last night while again visiting family in 2017 and I'm not sure what happened. Maybe it was a one off bad night but the service and the food was sub par. The waitress, Emily, seemed very inattentive while trying to handle multiple tables, at the same time. No water was brought to the table, which is pretty standard at all sit down restaurants, and we had to ask twice for water and bread, which is standard for this eatery. My order, the seafood feast, which is a mix after various seafood served in a spicy brine did not work out, as part of my order was not included in the juice but on the side by themselves, which made them pretty bland and flavorless, and the clams were a bit bitter. I'm not saying I won't try them again, as I'm hoping this was a one time bad night because I loved the 5 times I went there last year on vacation.

Food was very good, hostess and waitstaff were wonderful. View was great. We had the chowder which was ok, sweet potato crusted flounder which was delicious, king crab legs were delicious, and St Lucie Drunken monkey was good.

I have been here twice now and had great food and excellent service both times. You can dine inside or out and both offer interesting views. The inside has a great atmosphere and many interesting decorations from around the area while the outside area is under a grass roof with awesome views of the Indian River. The conch fritters are really good as well as the jumbo fried shrimp. The alligator bites and calamari were also very good. Our waitress was very friendly and took excellent care of us. I do find it to be on the expensive side but I don't mind paying more for good food and great service. Definitely check them out if you are nearby.

Stumbled upon this cozy spot while on vacation. Great atmosphere and live steel drum music! The complimentary basket of dinner rolls, cornbread, and banana bread was a nice perk before dinner. Unfortunately, my crablegs stuck to the shell, which made it difficult to enjoy my 1lb. crableg dinner. Friendly and courteous staff. Great spot to see how the locals live.

I love the conch fritters, atmosphere and the live reggae band. The band was wonderful. I will have to make this my weekend place to hang out. I don't understand the few bad reviews. It must have been a while back that they visited because lately it is a great place to come. It can't be too bad because you can never find a place to park and they're always packed when i come here.
