Not good at processing claims, been waiting for several months and still no answer

Storage facility is pretty much like most self storage facilities. It is clean and I must say that employee T. Mathis is wonderful. He is always friendly and helpful. The reason for the low rating are the monthly rates. When Compass took over from the previous owner the rates were increased (for my space) from$45 to $55. I didn't really mind as I have seen a rate increase (under the old company) for a while. But, after about 8 months, I was notified there is another increase, this time to $72. There hasn't been any noticeable improvement to justify the increases. In addition if you don't have your own insurance you must pay a additional insurance fee of at least $10. I do have insurance and brought in the appropriate paperwork, however several times the $10 free keeps showing up and I have to get a copy of my insurance again. Although the facility is fine, I will be leaving, primarily due to the increases. The cost for a non climate controlled space is just too much.

Poor management and rude .manager seem like she didn't know anything I would never go there again . if you want to go to a Carolina mini storage go to berkly
