I ordered an upgraded room running me almost 800 dollars. Witch wasn't too bad except I got to the room for there to be no toilet paper nor was any brought to my room when requested. Then when to came time for check out the manager so rudely kicked me out of the lobby area while waiting for my uber. Everything seemed pretty nice besides the service and in ability to wait in the shade in Florida during the hottest part of the day. To me that seems inconsiderate given they completely empty lobby and the amount of money I paid to spend Christmas there. I guess my understanding of a suit vs a hotel must be wrong. Needless to say my family and I will not be spend anymore of my following weekends working in sarasota at this HOTEL.

Great office staff and cleaning crew. Rooms were nice sized with refrigerator, microwave, television. Full size bathroom, but the lighting in the bathroom was not very bright to get ready with. Very small blow dryer. Ability to change the temperature in the room and quickly. Our room had nice overlook to the pool and gorgeous pond and palm trees behind the hotel. Continental breakfast included hot dishes, and during the week, lasted through 10am which was nice.
Not local, and only wish this was within walking distance to the beach. However, within ten minutes of driving distance to the beach. Good selection of restaurants and shops within a five mile radius. Less than two miles from I-75.
Price was cheaper than other hotels of the same calibernot a 5-star hotel but I'm giving it a five star review. Would stay here again. Would recommend to others.response / report this review -

We stayed at this hotel because of hurricane Irma. We live in Sarasota but our house has many big oak trees and we felt it best to be in a hotel. Nicholas, the manager, and every employee that worked the day before through the day after hurricane Irma was PHENOMENAL!! We cannot say enough great things about them. We felt safe, secure, cared about. They were calm and always pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Nicholas is obviously an exceptional manager as his employees are exceptional! Nicholas worked right along side his employees the entire time and was always available! We are very thankful for all they did. They went above and beyond!!! We will recommend this hotel to all who are needing a place to stay for vacation or hurricane 🙂 And if another hurricane comes our way, we will be staying at the Comfort Suites on Honore! They have an amazing team there! Thank you!

Clean and modern rooms. Fairly quiet. Good location, near 75 yet only miles from beach. Would have been happier if we could've stayed as long as we needed to but they claimed to have no vacancies for weeks.

Stayed here for a hurricane Irma and they did an EXCELLENT job throughout the entire time. They even went door-to-door handing out flashlights when the power went off. They kept us informed as events occurred and the next morning they had breakfast outside with coffee and juice and donuts Etc. Extremely friendly staff and very professional! I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone. Especially during a hurricane!

Great staff! Great breakfasts! Wonderful location! But, really, mostly: GREAT STAFF! I say it 2x because it was that important to us. The rooms are spacious & well maintained. The pool was warm & relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. 4days, 2rooms. We were ages 72, 52, 40 & 11& stayed last week of July. Amenities very comfortable with extremely polite staff from lobby to dining, to room services. Central to anything one could need in Sarasota. Glad we changed from our initial choice to THIS Comfort Inn.

We are currently staying at this hotel based on the excellent reviews read before booking in the U.K.
We are not disappointed, the hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and well kept, the bed is large and very comfortable. The pool area is great with clean, soft towels available, the pool overlooks a lake with great hot tub, there is a nice patio area with BBQ for personal use.
The staff at this hotel are polite and friendly, the breakfast area is pleasant with a great choice of hot and cold food which is well stocked and displayed, it is very clean.
The hotel and rooms are spotless.
We choose this hotel for the location, if you want to be on the beach then book a beach front rental, if you want to get out and about, visiting the amazing bays and beaches plus numerous attractions then this location offers the best of both worlds.
The roads are busy at times but where isn't, we have travelled up from a 2 week stay in Orlando and that is extremely busy, compared to Sarasota.
Do not be put off by the negative reviews of the recent guest, choose this hotel, you will not be disappointed.response / report this review -

I visited the Comfort Suites Sarasota for a business meeting. Bear in mind, I did not stay longer than four hours. That being said, the conference room had everything we needed, and it was very easy to find. The staff gave me no trouble coming in and parking was very easy! I can't say much about the rooms, but definitely a fine place for a small business meeting.

The rooms were very clean and the front desk was nice. They got us checked in a little early which was nice. I was only staying for 1 night and the next morning I got most of my things from my room loaded back into my car buy was still at the hotel with our group. Checkout was at 11 and at 9:30 they called me saying they had cleaned my room and i left my pillow. I had planned on going back to my room before I left but now they had cleaned the room and I had not even checked out.

Choose this hotel. You cannot go wrong. It is a new hotel. Updated decor. Very clean. Quiet. Very nice breakfast with eggs bacon waffle pancakes.

Took my wife here for a relaxing weekend/Valentine's Day 2017. The young lady that greeted us was warm and friendly as was the daytime staff. The room was clean. The breakfast staff was also very warm and breakfast was good. Would highly recommend this place.
