Cute place to stay. Floating Inn on the water. The accommodations were very nice. Great dock walkways all around the Inn. Great place to fish! Friendly Staff & gave us great information for getting around the area! Will definitely come & stay here again!

Just got back from staying at Bridgewater Inn and couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. My intentions were to have a place to sleep, eat, relax and fish. And it fulfilled all of those. I caught 15 jacks and 2 snook in one day! It was a blast. They're working on getting the remodeling underway as soon as possible, and it didn't affect my stay in the least. Having said this, the new/current prices at Bridge Water are completely out of line! I just checked on availability and was told $236 per night! At this rate, I've stayed there my last time. As much as I like it, it's just not worth it.

This Inne is a great place to spend a nice relaxing vacation. The Inne itself is right on the water so you can enjoy the sunshine the Matlache atmosphere or fish off the dock right in front of your room. They even have separate cottages you can also rent that too border Pine Island Sound you can fish off the docks in the back. You can see many boaters. There is a marina right up the street and many wonderful restaurants and shoppers. The seafood is freshly caught in many of the restaurants and the coziness of Matlache let's you just relax and enjoy this quaint area of Pine Island. Will definitely be back for a weekend getaway. Also the Inne is Pet Friendly.

Showed up to check in after a long day of fishing to find out we were given the wrong room. I was in town fishing with a coworker and we had reserved a room with two beds. Upon checking in, we were given the cottage to stay in for the night (which only had one bed) and were told they had no additional vacancies. We found dead bugs in the sheets of the full-sized bed and during the night the front of the air conditioning unit fell off. We dropped our key off in a slot in the door at 6 am before going out fishing for the day and attempted to call 7 times after they opened at 9 am to confirm our check out was complete but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone.
