Staff were awesome rooms were clean but needed remodeling. The walls were dingy and floors stained. I Would not recommend anyone stay here until the place is remodeled.

I was here for a week, visiting the San Diego area. The room i was booked in was a good room overall, the water pressure for the showers could of been better. Overall it was a good hotel for the price and area. ($115 avg per night) The complimentary breakfast could be improved, the flavors just are bland. I would come back just because my room was more than descent but not the greatest, considering my hotel budget. Just a tidbit there are alot of good places to eat around this area, just have to really look.

Awesome staff! Convenient location off the freeway. Nice pool. Hotel rooms are a little older. Water pressure in rooms not so good. Parking after 7pm is a nightmare. But overall a good place to stay.

Run down pitiful excuse for a hotel. Needs a good carpet cleaning (disgusting). Needs fresh paint everywhere. A.C. was broken, and the temperature never dropped below 76 the entire stay. Non heated pool which was advertised as heated. To be fair, the price was ok, and the breakfast was actually very decent. Just overall poor attention to basic comfort details. Look elsewhere.

I have no idea how this hotel has an average 3.5 stars? I usually don't take the time to make reviews, however I make an exemption because this hotel must not have a carpet cleaner since it looks like the floor in room #302 has had a full buffet spilled and ground into the carpet, not to mention the torn carpet. That's followed by the dirtiest walls I've seen since I served time in the Big House. Oh by the way the carved "tagged " graffiti words in the elevator are a nice touch. The smell in the room was easier to deal with once we opened the window and of course, no screen. I was kept busy by my 3 kids saying, "oh daddy another bug, get it daddy"! We went 2 out of our 4 days stay with no hot water since their hot water ignitor wasn't working. By far the dirtiest Comfort Inn you'll ever stay inn. Can't believe this hotel can use the Comfort Inn logo.

The front desk service was really nice, however the parking for the hotel was very limited. The room was descent, but it was dirty. The toilet was not cleaned, the bed sheets smelled weird, and it had a dusty feeling. I would have had a much better experience if the room was properly cleaned before use. They do, however, have continental breakfast included.

I have been scrolling on the browser if i could find the comfort suites hotel website to write a complaint or reviews!!! I was really disappointed i never did complaint on the front desk just cause they told my husband to give us a discounts! First of all on our first night we got there our room does not have AC! They tried to fix it and couldn't so ended up to no Ac all night! My husband went to talk to one of the guy in the front desk and he told him that they will refund our money if we choose to leave! Well heck it wasn't holiday we will find another freaking hotel! So he told us to give us a discounts instead and we suffered no Ac all night! For me im used to the heat anyways but I feel sorry for my daughter she was sweating like crazy! So yesterday they got us another room thanks god ac works perfectly fine. I wasn't satisfied the discounts they gave us!! They only took off $30 some dollars!! Are you freaking kidding me!!!!For what we been through all night!!! Never heard any apologies from the front desk! But the guy who fixed the ac he did came to see me and apologized! He made sure that we will get new room the next day! Guess what i will never go back to their hotel again! They shouldn't call suites because after all what happened it never feels like it! I called cs and the lady i spoke too she said that the hotel can only give us 15% discounts! They charged us $189 for 1 night without AC and only gave us $31 discounts!! what a nice to treat a guest! your hotel needs a lot of TLC door was broken and hallway floor was really not in good condition! Guess We are not coming back to this location ever! Told my friends and family as well.

Same hotel as last time. Great breakfast service. Hotel front desk should really get to know the people that are coming in and need their service. Also business center should allow to print at the local printer except to an email. No one should see another person's email unless they so chose it. Carpets and rooms need to be upgraded in style. And the hotel needs it a own laundry service.

Front desk staff and the maintenance boy are really nice!
Rooms are clean, pool and hot tub area are clean. Nice fountains and seating in area around pool. Coffee and lemon water available in lobby 24hrs a day and they also have a small area to buy pop, snacks and personal care items. The ladies in the breakfast area are nice and accommodating.

Staff is very kind and accommodating. Management needs to hire more helping hands in maintenance department. So far they have one maintenance employee running back and forth between the holiday inn and comfort suites and the poor guy doesn't get a break. I've seen him working from 6am in the morning to 11pm. The hotel in general could you some sprucing up, but to be honest, its an overall good hotel considering the fact that there's only one man maintaining it, as well as the hotel next door. Someone get that guy a raise.

My room spacious but dated. Air cond made a lot of noise. Two 32" TVs with HD channels and HBO. Some rooms on my floor were missing door handles/latches and perhaps were being renovated. Breakfast was well stocked and they had two waffle makers. Friendly staff.

1- We were told it was a brand new hotel which it definitely was not.

2- We were told that Mission Beach was a 10 minute drive which it was not, it was 30 minutes without traffic. We did not want to stay that far. Very misleading.

3- When we got to the hotel the mater bedroom air conditioner was not working. In fact within 30 minutes of turning it to 65 it went from 80 to 83. It was getting hotter. We called the front desk about 3pm and let them know. We were told they would send someone up. At 7pm we found that no one came up at all. At that point we called them again and they had someone come up, push a few buttons and tell us it was fixed. Guess what, it was not fixed. when we got back in the room it was 87. A lot hotter. When my husband called they offered to put us in 2 separate rooms which is completely unacceptable since I had 4 minors with us. I then called back and they surprisingly had the same style room we had available within a few minutes of telling us they had nothing. Very strange. We moved to the new room at that time. That was a pain in the ass with as many people as we had considering we unpacked everything, then had to repack and then unpack in the new room.

4- We were there from Sunday night to Tuesday, not once did the maid clean the room.

If I could, will be ZERO star for this hotel!! Don't want to waste time to write all the bad experience in this hotel. Just want for their full refund due to no room for me, I have to move to their neighbor Holiday Inn at 1:00 AM on 30th May. I couldn't leave their 1 star if they had already give me refund.

First I must give credits to the young receptionist at the front desk was courtious and hard-working. However, this hotel has a major issue. My family is usually happy with a 2-star hotel but the one is just not acceptable. The rooms are in very poor conditions (broken ACs/bathroom light, stains on walls/sinks/bathtub/ceilings, broken lamb/hairdryer). The team was constantly fixing things to make customers happy. However, we would not return for sure unless they make a major improvement. The hotel clearly needs better regular maintenance. Currently the rooms have numerous issues but they still let customers stay in them and fix only when they complain. This would turn customers away!! They management really should focus on preventing all these issues from happening rather than fixing them when customers bring them up.

The service was decent, but our first room did not have functional air conditioning. Guest services was unable to fix or relocate us. They relocated us to following morning after we begun to apply pressure to be moved immediately. This room has a marginally functional showerhead. The move was done grudgingly. I would suggest the service was acceptable, but we had to pester them to get anything done.
