The good: very conveniently located. The bad: everything else! The curtains were torn, the shower was dirty, the toilet was broken, the floor was moist, and it goes on and on
The bathrooms are so out dated and the ceiling looks like it may fall on your head while you shower. Very dingy and dirty and muggy smelling room. Our toilet clogged at 830pm, which I should've expected given the condition of the bathroombut I was trying to be hopefulsure enough when we asked for a plunger they said they had nonethen when we said we needed a change of room because our children need to go to the bathroom at night, and all of a sudden they now had a plungerhow convenient! Either waythis was a last minute place we needed for the night and I regret it. By the way night staff is not goodhad better encounter with day shift
Curtains torn, paint peeling off the wall and ceiling in bathroom, and the grossest thing was my daughter finding a dirty towel hanging from the rack! How do we know it was dirty? The towel was unused by anyone of us but when she pulled it from the rack it had makeup all over it (glitter and all) which made me wonder how many other towels hanging on the rack were not clean that I may have used prior to her discovering it! And when I reported to the desk clerk, All he said was we will speak to the staff and it will be reported to the GM! I’m sorry but I feel nasty and will never use choice hotels again!
Spacious. Clean. Comfortable. Near shops and restaurants. Pool, gym, wifi, snack shop. Friendly front desk. But bathrooms need work: poor water pressure, leaky fixtures, shabby shower area, low-flow lavatory, dim lighting which conveniently obscures slight water damage on wall and small mildew stain on ceiling Free breakfast from 6-9a does compensate.
As a choice member this was the worst stay I have had. This is an old motel that is clearly short of funds to maintain the facilities. The bathroom tub leaked so bad you could hear it through the door when it was shut. The place had a shabby feel to it. It wasn't that it was unclean but paint was needed on doors, carpet badly patched, etc. The breakfast was ok but limited compared to others. We checked in on a Sunday so on the positive side we got a very good deal for the two nights. The staff was fine but I did notice that I have two pending charges on my credit card from them for the same amount. I call my credit card company and they said one might drop off. I called the Motel and they said they charge a reserve against your credit chard when you check in and then again when you check out for the actual charge. Again to be fair my wife said it was a place to sleep (beds okay) and we good a good deal. Bottom line, if you can get 30-40% discount over what you would pay for a similar facility then go for it, just don't expect to much.
This hotel had electrical wires hanging and exposed from the ceiling. I felt it was not safe at all. The person at the service desk was rude did not explain or greet us when we arrived to the hotel. He did not tell anything about breakfast hours, WiFi internet password, or even our room number. He was extremely rude and he did not even exchange one word other then I need your credit card. When we call down to express our concerns of the exposed electrical wire, he basically ignored us. The restroom had mold and paint was fall of the wall. The bathtub was so filthy that my wife refused to shower in it barefooted.; we placed a towel in the bathtub while we showered. This hotel DOES NOT meet the standards of a Comfort Inn and Suites. The rooms were more like you would expect to find in a cheap hotel located in a street walker infested neighborhood where the rooms are used for pimping or drug use. Comfort Inn and Suites needs to take their name off this location!
Its nice and clean place comfortable bed good service all-round good place to stay
This is a dated hotel that is not easy to find but it is not a bad choice. The hotel itself is comfortable the rooms are nice and the mattresses are good. The staff was very nice and were pleasant when we arrived. The morning breakfast had more items than any other hotel we stayed out on our trip. It had eggs, sausage, and potatoes as well as the normal waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit Etc. Overall, it was a decent hotel experience and a place I can recommend to people in the future.
I know they are trying their best to keep the guests coming but they need major renovation. I was in 115 and the paint is chipped everywhere. The window was barely covered because missing the shade. The bathtub was extremely scary. You can tell that pig was just slapped with lipstick. The paint is chipping where they just painted the tub. The customer service was awesome. Friendly and quick but the room needed some extreme makeover. It is not the worst I stayed at.
The stay was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and everything worked: Wi-Fi, bathroom, shower, microwave and fridge. The pool was great just missing the Jacuzzi. The breakfast was awesome sausage, egg, biscuits, and the usual. The food area could use a little more elbow room.
Tye a the front desk is awsome. Hardworking young man. They had him all over.
Clean rooms great breakfast and wonderful staff. Very nice hotel
There was only one curtian on the window. I asked front desk if they could help with this because we like our room dark when we sleep. The front desk lady offered no solutions and seemed annoyed we asked. She said all the rooms have 1 curtian. The bathroom had two light bulbs out and our bed sheets had a yellow stain on them. Overall the hotel is dated, worn and old. Paint scratches, scuff on walls. Breakfast wasn't bad, the biscuits and gravy were not great. The biscuit was soggy and the gravy was the consistency of water. Waffles were good. I wouldn't stay here again, there are plenty of hotels in the area, find a nicer one to stay in that's equipped with basic amenities.
Been using this hotel for awhile. First time I book through a 3rd party site(hotel tonight) and I find out that I cannot use the airport shuttle because of this. If I am a guest, sgouldnt I be able to use the hotel services?
I picked this hotel because of the location. It isn't far from downtown or fiesta texas. It has plenty of places to eat and shop at near by. If you don't feel like leaving the hotel, they do offer a variety of food to order from. They also include breakfast which consisted of waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, coffee, juice, etc. There is a microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge in the room. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint would be the bathroom. It looked out dated and the shower/tub area did not look clean. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
