I went to help a family member find their first vehicle and it was a very pleasant experience. It was easy to get confused during bidding wars, but staff was very helpful with those who aren't familiar with the auction style environment.
Triple checked that a gate pass had been issued for a car, and when I arrived there was no gate pass and the office that issues them was closed. Apparently it wasn't the first time that's happened either.
I've purchased my cars here since 2002. Pretty great deals here but you do have to be patient and it helps if you know a little something about cars. I do think it sucks that the dealers are able to attend their dealer auctions as well as the repo auctions. The past few times I've gone ut I have rn into dealers who offered to sell me a car. Kind of defeats my purpose of paying cash. I kindly decline. One inflated the cost of the cars and when I told him that I'm familiar with the auction he said oh well you don't need me. LOL! If you've never been you must go! Just listening to the auctioneers is a blast! Even with the dealers I'm giving the place 5 stars.
Easy pickup of purchased vehicles. Good service.
Very bad experiences with this auction. They sell the most unsafe vehicles you can get. Broken rusted frames, no brakes, gas leaks and they all run in lane where people are around it.
My auction rep is always there for me always a pleasure to deal with Columbus Fair
Good place to get a lot variety of cars but try to make test drive before the auction.
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received at an Auction! They listed a vehicle on Manheim's OVE site for local dealer (Dotson Automotive) who did not describe it properly and then they stand on the local dealers side for arbitration issues. DON"T BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The General manager Chuck Dearing didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my calls. Wake up CFAA NO DAMAGE MEANS NO DAMAGE not $750 worth of damage!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great atmosphere, great people and service. I can always find the kind of vehicles I'm looking for hereI have referred many people and will continue to do so.
Never can find your vehicles here. Plan to not find them or spend four hours looking.
There website said we could look at cars in Sunday and some guy that looked like Steve Harvey made us leave
Fair selection of nice vehicles to pick from. Just wish dealers couldn't be involved in public auctions like the public can't be in dealer auctions. Just start the auction at a price the bank needs back on repos.
Great bunch of Reps. Scott and Alicia are just a pleasure to work with as well as Josh and Cisile. Always willing to work with me.
Been having a great experience with this auction. They don't over charge PUBLIC BUYERS. THEY DONT TURN THEIR NOSE UP TO US EITHER. I have had enough of auction houses taking advantage of public buyers. Other auctions like to hold your id till the end of the auction or till your done bidding. What happens if there is an emergency. Well you have to wait in line to get your deposit back as well as your ID. Amazing that with this day an age it's legal for a company to hold onto your ID With your social security number in their system. Scary thought that someone making minimal wage has enough information to steel your identity. But they have the advantage if you don't follow their rules you can not play in their sand box. I thought business is business not a kindergarten class. Laugh out loud. They need to open their eyes before they end up completely out of business. I'm talking about other auction houses not CFAA. They don't have much to worry about.
