I'm completely new to comics and Jamey the counter worker is really knowledgeable. He was amazing at explaining how things work. He also called in some of the things they were out of stock on that I wanted to see. Very good time

Cool little comic shop. If your looking for any type of anime though don't bother coming here they don't have any. The employees are knowledgeable about what they do have.

EVERY SINGLE EXPERIANCE I HAVE HAD WITH COLLECTORS EDGE SOUTH AND EAST HAS BEEN THAT OF EXCELLENT SERVICE WITH FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO FIND JUST ABOUT ANY COMIC IM LOOKING FOR AT A MOMENTS NOTICE. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL AND CONSISTANTLY WILLING TO DIVE DOWN INTO THEIR BASEMENT TO UNEARTH HARD TO FIND COMICS THAT END UP COMPLETING MY COLLECTIONS. THANK YOU TO ALL THE C.E. The package system is an extremely convenient way to have my usual books ready when I get there, giving me more time to browse for other comics. The atmosphere is great - the employees are knowledgeable, but they don't make you feel like an idiot if you do not know who was in a particular key issue like the staff at some places do. I have always felt welcome here, and I appreciate that employees still ask if you need help finding something - it feels like the way retail should be, and the reason I buy from them instead of taking my business online.

Extensive selection of issues and trade paperbacks, large and indie press, manga too. Staff is very knowledgable on comics. Many binders of magic the gathering cards as well.

Cool comicbook store, knowledgeable staff and TONS of well-informed staff picks. This was the busiest comicbook shop I've ever been to. Super varied collection, an adult selection, and rarer/stranger titles than available at most shops like this. Kick-Ass place!

I am always satisfied with the customer service at this store and staff is friendly and honest. The store is extremely clean, well organized, and it's a comfortable environment. I recommend checking it out.

This store had the comics that I was looking for! They have a life-sized Spiderman inside. The staff was polite and helped me search for a back issue of a popular comic (unfortunately, none of the other stores in the area had it).
Out of local comic book stores in Milwaukee, Lost World of Wonders is probably 2-3x bigger, Collector's Edge East is the smallest, and this one was in the middle.response / report this review -

Worst experience ever. I was brought in on Comic Book Day by a loyal customer, and found a series I really liked. Hadn't bought comics since I was a kid, so why not?
Don't worry, they gave me reasons "why not." A clerk noticed my interest and offered to bring me earlier editions. They had maybe a dozen altogether. Sure, there were a few holes in the series, but feeling the thrill of the treasure hunter, I decided to splurge and purchase what they had, and look around later for the missing issues.
I waited in line for 20 minutes, anticipating going home and reading, checking out the Promo sheets on the Comic Book Day sale all the while. When it was my turn in line, and they started ringing up my selection, repeatedly, the prices they rung up bore no resemblance to the prices on the comics! They were higher - I mean, a LOT more. I questioned this, and THEN was told, "Oh, sure. They're back issues. We have a book that tells us the market price of these. And they don't qualify for the sale."
We're not talking 25 cents more here, they were adding DOLLARS onto the cover price. Some of the issues were >gaspresponse / report this review
