A really cool place to grab a bite to eat. The menu is extensive, so there are options for everyone. They have their own line of brews as well as a full bar, with indoor and outdoor seating. Wait times can be long, but they have a small park where you can sit and order drinks while you wait.
I consistently have a great experience here. I had one dish I didn’t like in the many times I’ve been here and that was probably just personal preference. I try to take my family here at least once every two months or so as we make our way through Gettysburg. Highly recommended.
Good service and good ambience, but I have a few suggestions to up your game. Cut out the frozen vegetables. They're awful. No one plans dinner out in the hopes of being served frozen vegetables. If you don't like vegetables, then don't serve them. Secondly, no one would ever expect to see this entry in a drinks menu: Beer ( lager, pilsener, stout, etc). So how about a little more respect for the wine drinker. Perhaps wine drinkers are not quite as plentiful, but it's getting close. And just because you are serving keg wine on tap, doesn't mean you can't disclose what you are serving. More and more local and regional wineries are kegging quality wines.
Large selection of beers with broad variety of styles with some brewed on premises. Food menu is extensive also, albeit a bit pricey. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy craft beer
Great experience! The mountain of nachos was delicious and my wife ordered the fish tacos and they were Amazing! Unfortunately i ordered the bay side flat bread and it was the worst part of this lunch. It was basically 4 slices of shrimp and scallop pizza with butter instead of sauce. Besides my terrible menu choice, all of the other food was great and our waitor made sure we never ran out of drinks and we had everything we needed.
If your a beer lover, this is the place to be. They have a wonderful variety to choose from. The atmosphere was vey good. It wasn't very crowded when we were there so I don't know why our service was a little slow. As for the food, I ordered a burger that came with ham, bacon and BBQ sauce and it was good but maybe I expected a little bit more. Its not fair of me to compare it to my hometowns burger joint (Fat Pattys) because that burger cant be beat but it was still good.
Fantastic food, very good pricing with large servings. Kids menu is fantastic and they bring our cheese and crackers for kids while we waited for the food. Will come back on our next visit.
What a pleasant surprise! I'm a beer lover. I'm a food lover. I'm pretty particular about service. This place surpassed my expectations on all counts! I had to bring beer home! Not to mention the background music being perfect. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Oh, did I mention a craft brewed Root Beer Float for desert! Yum!
Service was adequate, food was adequate, atmosphere was adequate. Price for 5 with tip was $74.75 and that's with 4 of us drinking water. You can tell that this is a craft beer place first and the food is a rather distant second. The burger I had you can get anywhere else, just as good, for less money. My wife had the Rad Gumbo.it wasn't Rad and it barely resembled Gumbo. Portion was overwhelmingly small and mainly consisted of rice with some 'Gumbo looking' gravy around the rice. My wife was disappointed to say the least. The Blue and Gray down the road has much better food for similar prices. We won't come back here.
Great food, service and atmosphere. The food was very well presented and delicious. Nothing is canned, and the service was great. The wait was minimal. We ate there twice while visiting Gettysburg this week.
The beer selection was great. My 11 year old grandson loved the chili! My pulled pork sandwich was delicious, it came with house made chips. The chips were terrible, it was obvious they were stale and greasy. I let the manager know about the chips and she informed me the chips were made in the morning, that would explain why the chips were terrible. Nice atmosphere with a daily $5 beer special. I would eat there again, but earlier in the day.
Great selection of house made sodas including a very creamy root beer. The food I had was very enjoyable too. If you prefer your wings a bit sweet, try the root beer glaze!
First time we have visited this place, since we were in the area visiting the battlefield and based on the reviews decided to check this place out. Great atmosphere and had to wait 15 min. for a table even though there were several available tables open. Ordered just an appetizer (spinach dip - amazing!) and two small plates to share (tots -good/pierogies - okay). We each ordered a beer to try, which was also very tasteful and refreshing (chocolate ave pint, Scottish ale pint, & wheat pint -all very good). Overall, enjoyed our experience, but our only complaint was our server, Lydia. She was awful and did not provide very good customer service. We had to ask for one of the beers which was ordered with the food and came after the food arrived, we had to ask for her to refill our waters, never came to ask how the food was and never came to remove our plates after we were finished and paying for the bill.
Showed up at 10:08 and online clearly states closes at 11 but they said they close the kitchen at 10 and everyone is cleaning the restaurant around people currently still seated and eating. Clearly concerned with getting out as quick as possible and not customer service. Don't bother.
