Just a great restaurant! I highly recommend trying to get seats in the wine bar in the back, it's a separate building but the full menu is available. It looks like a bar that you'd find in Italy
Oh me oh my! Excellent traditional Italian food. Absolutely love it here. A tad pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've never been disappointed.
The diavolo pizza was phenomenal. Also loved the sea bass. My wife and I sat in the wine bar section and after food sat down for a drink by the fire. Romantic and intimate. Made a great date night.
This place is charming and welcoming. With an outside area as well as party room they are a complete package. I loved coming in to see the wood burning pizza oven. Now I have to warn you, I'm a Jersey girl and most of my friends have vowels ending their last names. I have a certain expectation of pizza, a basic food group, and have not yet found good pizza in the area. We began with wonderful salads, crisp with fresh ground pepper over the light and tangy vinegar dressing. Thinly shaved parmesan cheese were a tasty addition. Next came the margarita pizza. My first impression was how limp the crust was, no crispyness associated with wood fire pizza. The taste of the crust at first seemed good, but the more I ate the more I realized it was just overly salty. The tomato sauce was weak, lacking all taste and the few basil leaves did not make up for it. Still, it was the best pizza I have tasted in the area so far because it lacked that awful canned sweet sauce. I will return to try other dishes in the future, but will avoid their pizza.
Our waitress was very friendly, our food was good but not for what paid for. I think they need to figure out how to give a fuller meal for 20.00. Like add on a small salad with meal maybe. The Olive Garden is cheaper, better. But it was ok. It was fun but I’m not craving to go back.
This is a restaurant with pizza in its name but just so happens to serve the best pasta in town. Some on the menu is fresh made, all is cooked al dente like it should be, and makes all the difference in the world. The Pizza is top notch authentic also.
I used to enjoy the pizza here. I thought it was the best in the city. But I no longer believe that to be true.
Tonight our pizza was soggy not just mine but all six of ours!
We had a party 6 to celebrate a birthday tonight. The service was extremely poor. She was very unattentive. We had to ask her many times for fork, bottled water, some bread, oil, and our bill came to $350.
I will not return !
We went here on our 6 month anniversary as this place was rated as one of the most romantic places in Pittsburgh! My wife liked the place. The food was also good but the customer service can be improved.
Neapolitan style pizza made right. Authentic brick oven, flown in from Italy piece by piece and assembled by Italy's finest. In addition to great atmosphere and food, head out back to the courtyard or even better the winebar. Playboy rated it #2 in comparison to it's own grotto. est. 1996.
Great food, spotty service. Truly outstanding pasta. Seating is chaotic. Just be careful if under time constraints. Avoid takeout. An excellent choice for a leisurely dinner. Nice bar.
4 cheese pizza and eggplant pasta were delicious. Service and atmosphere were great. Only negative is that it's pricey for what you get.
This place has the best food you can taste it in the fresh ingredients. The service is always on par but it can be pricey. Everything is a la carte & two people who order an app & two dinners & a coke can run you $75! Its a "special ocassion" place for me not someplace I'd go frequently, but you get what you pay for in quality.

Most authentic Italian restaurant I've been to outside Italy. Great wine bar and specialty martinis. Excellent desserts. Outside area feels like an outdoor cafe in Rome!
Italian food. Calzones were awesome.
Personnel were helpful with suggestions.
