A lot of exhibits were closed. Required to wear a mask outside 🙄 why?

I used to go on field trips here every year as a kid. I loved it then, and I still love this place now as an adult. I would recommend bringing a nice pair of comfortable walking shoes. You will be on your feet for some time. They have a nice gift shop here, however it is a bit pricey. They do offer food here to eat, and it’s just your standard restaurants such as a McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and a couple of other places. You can bring a cooler inside with you if you don’t want to pay for drinks. Parking is FREE!

This zoo continues to get better every year. They continue to update their exhibits and i am always finding things in the animal's exhibits for enrichment. They have a good amount of food and drink vendors throughout the park As well. The park is very clean and the staff is helpful.

Cruise the Zoo was a wonderful experience! So much fun to get out of the house as a family, see new surroundings, see the animals. They offered tracks you could listen to through each part of the tour, explaining what you would see as well as different facts, and information. There were emergency pull offs and food/beverage stands available along the way. From the time we entered to the time we left, it was an hour. Perfect time, looking forward to going to the zoo and supporting them! Thank you for this opportunity!!

Love visiting the zoo. Went with nephews and other family for the first Boo at the Zoo. Nephews got to dance at a monster mash, trick.or treat, and dance with other kids on a big screen tv. Met super heroes and saw some cool animals. The staff is always so great and the animals are ALWAYS fun to see.

My kids love coming to this zoo! The staff members have always been very friendly and the exhibits are always clean and tidy. The hands on activities throughout the zoo help the kids a deeper connection to the animals. For example, having the ability to touch elephant skin, tusks, teeth, etc. makes the elephants more relatable to the kids. Also the free admission on Mondays for locals is really awesome! I've never lived by a zoo where I could go for free. Make sure to take advantage of this great zoo and the many perks it has to offer!

Always a good time, great place for families and kids. They always seem like they are improving and adding. A must see and do is the bald eagle and feeding lettuce to the giraffe. Elephants are fun too! We have a year membership and best of all, it's tax deductible. When we came in the past, we felt like we had to try and fit it all in, now we spent more time in different areas. Much easier with kids! Also, the "make your own penny" machines are reasonable at 50 cents. Please don't raise the price!

Awesome zoo! Def. in the top 5 and we have done many zoos. GET A MAP AND READ IT BEFORE YOU WANDER IN! there is a lot to see, but without planning, you could very well wear out a pair of shoes and miss half of the zoos.

They have an awesome train; $2.50 to ride, my 2 year old LOVED it.

We will visit again if in Cleveland or driving through and need a day out of the car!

I love the Cleveland Zoo and can't wait for the new exhibit next summer. We bought a family membership for around $125, it gets me, my husband, our 2 teenage sons and 3 grandchildren in plus 1 guest every time. Its a great deal. And there are, I believe, over 100 zoos and aquariums that you can get a 50% discount at if you're a member. I miss the polar bears, they were my favorite. There's so many animals, my grandsons loved the rhino and the tigers. I highly recommend going here.

This was our first time there and it was great! The park was very clean and kept in spectacular shape, the animals were clearly cared for due to their clean and appropriate sized exhibit and the staff was very friendly. My family had an awesome time there and wish we could have stayed all day unfortunately we had to leave early. So I was in a hurry to see as much as possible but there was so much to see. It was a great zoo and I would love to go back some day!

This zoo seems very well funded, with many educational exhibits and little extras that make it very worth the visit. Kids will probably enjoy the petting zoo (we pet a snake). I especially enjoyed the Rainforest building, which includes everything from large spiders to several species of porcupine (who even knew there were different species of porcupine?!?). My girlfriend and I paid for only basic admission, which leaves out a train ride and a movie, and still spent nearly six hours here and barely saw everything we wanted before they closed. Parking may include a bit of walking and waiting in line, but if you're going to a zoo you should be prepared for walking anyway, yes? Also, there's a food court with Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and a sub place (I liked the sub place very much), and there is an indoor air-conditioned eating area. Highly recommend!

I love the Cleveland Zoo! There is so much to see and do, you'll definitely need a whole day! The rain-forest is an amazing experience and that's a visit in itself. I love the new exhibits and the animals seem happy and relaxed here. The elephant crossing is wonderful and the giraffe encounter is a fun experience!

Great zoo! Recently upgraded elephant exhibit, great Australia exhibit, and some unusual animals such as New Guinea Singing Dogs. Worth a membership for young families. Special events like Boo at the Zoo are always fun.

Very nice zoo! Wished we would have had more time there. We plan to go back some day. The kid's tree house is awesome!! Easily handicapped accessible and the family restroom was nice, glad they offer that. Happy to find postcards and a variety of pens, pencils, and shirts. Looking forward to returning!

This is probably the best zoo i have been to. They always keep it very clean. The staff is very helpful. And Mondays are free for local residents. However on Mondays they do not always open all the activities for the children which kind of sucks. But still as much as we visit, its well worth going on Mondays.

I am a person that loves zoos. I try to go to zoos whenever I am in a city that has one and I have always been impressed with the Cleveland Zoo! The layout is unique. The exhibits are diverse and interesting. The selection of animals is wonderful and there are amazing things to do and see around every corner.
