  If I could I would give them 0 stars. Worst experience I've ever had in a store, period. As a special gift to my 8 year old daughter, my mother had my old bike refurbished. We were excited to pick it up and were extremely disappointed when they wheeled out the bike which still had cobwebs, dirt and grass on the tires from 14 years ago. The line we were given was that they don't refurbish these bikes because it would be more than the bike is worth so they only did a tune-up. The clerk was very pushy and persistant the bike had been wiped down. However, he was not the one who did the work on the bike. We asked him to look and see the obvious cobwebs and grass flicking off the tires of the bike they "refurbished". I had to bring home my daughter and wipe the bike down in front of her. The rag was full of dirt just from the frame and we are still out $94 dollars. We have 3 other bikes that will need a real refurbishing but will never be in that store again. I advise you not to either.

  Called and asked if I could have new tires put on my bike. Was told they were not taking any new business, put me on hold and then disconnected. Called Paul's Cycling and Fitness and they had me taken care of in two days. Buy local, just know where to go.

  I recently purchased a bicycle from Clemmons Bicycle and my experience with these people was excellent. I purchased the bike from Josh but received expert help from Travis a few days before and more help from Will a few days after. In every case, I felt like their time with me was sincere, I was never rushed and it was very helpful. The best compliment I can render, however, is watching the interaction between staff and regular customers who came in and out while I was there. It became immediately apparent that these guys have tremendous rapport with their clients and it's no coincidence. If you want a first rate bicycle with professional service to match, look no further. I mean it!

  Clemmons Bicycles goes out of their way to help each cyclist individually. These guys helped me find the right ride and the perfect fit. They frequently accept trade-ins, but in my case since my bike was a rather obscure brand, they listed and sold it for me on ebay for a small commission.which enabled me to buy the bike I really wanted! Outstanding customer service, extremely friendly, and not at all "too cool for school" like some bike shops. Thanks guys! Happy riding!

  This is one of the best bike shops in the area for their selection, prices, service and location. If you are anywhere near Clemmons, this shop is convenient. They have all the parts you need from tubes and tires to lube and brakes. They also can help you if you are in the market for a new bike, clothes, shoes etc. If you like riding in groups they also have group rides and friendly staff that can help you find the right fit. The owner is amazing and the staff are super helpful without talking down to newbies who don't know much or are just getting started.

  When I first moved to Winston-Salem 1 1/2 yrs ago, I went around to all Local Bike Shops in the area. Clemmons is outstanding; very knowledgeable and supportive to all customers (from racers to casual tourers). I've never ever been in the store without seeing people been well taking care of in a very friendly manner.
  Fantastic mechanics; small fixes or total rebuilds are all done extremely fast and well! This is the place you will return to for that reason itself.
  The staff are all riders themselves, and know their stuff. You will get good advice for your next race or high end bike purchase - but also if you're in the market for a helmet for you 6-yr old.
  Simply the best Bike Shop around!
