From what I saw it was a very nice place. We are from Wisconsin and came to this mall just for Legoland on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't superbly busy nor was it dirty. All the staff that we met we friendly and courteous. It has quick and relative easy access to the freeway and quite a selection of things to do there.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I can let my kid go on a thingy(I think it's called a bungee jumping thing) my kid Alice can get shoes, play games in an arcade, and eat fast food here. This place is honestly amazing.
Huge!!!!!! Doesn't even do it justice. An amazing place to shop. High end stores like most malls but also places that are reasonable. Something for everyone. Good food too
I have been going to AZ Mills since it opened in the 90s and it has gone through a lot of changes. It has really gotten a lot nicer in the last 5 years. Not many empty stores like a lot of malls in Phoenix and even when it's busy, the walkways are wide enough that it's not crazy overwhelming. I love to go early on weekends and let my kid run around and burn off some steam! The strollers are crazy overpriced so bring your own. However they also have ride on electric animals that are fun. They also have a lot of stands inside like a VR coaster, a couple giant trampolines, and a great food court.
The shops are being updated still, but good selection of stores.
However, they removed the call button for the family restroom and the Nursing room! Horrible decision. If you have a cell phone, you have to call the security office and then wait for them to come open the door. The ventilation in the Nursing room is horrible. During the summer months, it's very still in there. You're better off trying to nurse your baby in public. The other malls have better nursing rooms than this.
This mall has stepped it up quite a bit. Love that they are trying to revamp their experience. I feel like there is a good selection of stores and activities and am very thankful that they updated the food court. It was well past time.
Clean and fun but defiantly not outlet prices as some stores post as outlets. Some fun stuff to do but a day at castles and coasters would be cheaper Imax, movies, Lego place and aquarium Fun little notarized critters and trampoline stuff and an arcade.. Plus a great store to buy formals at a HUGE discount Got my daughter a 150$ dress for 5$.
I went to AZ Mills to get my phone repaired
All Mobile Matters. .Excellent Professional Service!
While waiting stopped at Tilt.
Great drinks friendly bartender..Happy hour snacks are reasonably priced
Also Tilt has a very nice "regular " crowd for karaoke. .feels "cozy ".. the host is AWESOME. Best time ever waiting for my phone to be repaired! !
Surprised to see it's been remodeled and looks amazing. I thought I was going to go there and see a dead mall but instead there are no empty stores. There are now little restaurants between each of the sections. The mall has an interesting mixture of high-end shops outlet shops and traditional Mall fare.
Great selection of stores, always has a good energy in the mall in/out of the stores, lots of entrances makes it easier to park close to our cluster of favorite shops, I like the way the movie theatre & the arcade are situated at a "corner" of the mall so that the parking lot has lots of spaces for shoppers to park & not be dominated by movie patrons vehicles. My only 2 suggestions would be to have the signage for the restrooms to be more obvious for patrons to locate- the size of the signs for the restrooms & shops are the same & it's difficult to see them because they look like the shop signage & you can't really see them. My other suggestion is providing more mall directories for locating stores or restrooms, most of the shop employees seem to be clueless as to location or if a certain store is still open in the mall-I was frantically searching for the Lane Bryant store, having not been the the Mill in 3 years I didn't know that it had closed, so I walked through over half of the place trying to find it, I shopped there several times in the past & knew where it "should" be, then i couldn't find a map of the mall to see if it was there anymore & nobody I asked at the kiosks had any idea what I was talking about. Other than that, an enjoyable Saturday evening as always at the mall:)
Ever since I was a preteen, this was the place to be. Even now I still find myself here at least once a month, and I'm never disappointed. I always find what I need! Bow tie and suspenders? Yes! People watching? Yes! Shoes? Yes swords? Yes! They always have whatever I'm looking for!
OMGosh! I love this place!!!! It's so big and there are so many shops. There's a Lego store and a small aquarium! Lots of cute shops and even a small pet store!!! Good food choices in the food court. Very nice!!! ^_^
The outside of this place is completely deceiving. It looks like a run-down flea market from the outside. But once you go inside, it's like a completely different world. There is cool stuff everywhere- big toys, unique stores, cool beverage shops. We went on a Sunday and it was VERY crowded, but I was impressed! They really need to improve the outside of this mall, it looks terrible and made me assume there wasn't much going on inside (I don't live in Phoenix).
This mall was a fun mixture of retail stores and outlet stores. Our family has ages ranging from 6 months to 50 years old and we all enjoyed it. We were able to visit both the Aquarium and Lego land during our stay in Arizona. While shopping the Merry-go-round ($3 a rider) was a nice distraction. The outlets that attracted our attention were the Vans, Nike, and Gymboree outlets. It wasn't too busy even on New Year's eve! Great food court with a variety of places to choose from.
